This is a golden opportunity. I understand he has his issues. But without those issues we wouldn't even be discussing the possibility of acquiring him.

Pull the trigger! Call the browns right now!

I think a 3rd can get it done.

I doubt it. Maybe a 2nd. If we can get him for a 3rd and aren't pulling the trigger than I just can't understand that logic.

Dude a 2nd rd pick that is what was reported SF offered for him....he has done nothing do think he is worth that. How do u expect SF to pay for him after this year? They build through the draft....

no need to trade away a pick when 3 blunts and a brownie will do

your crazy to give the browns the 15th pick... If the browns thought about the 49ers offer for Gordon last year until they bailed out last min, he can probably be had for a 5th or 6th round pick this year since the browns is ready to dump the guy.

Gordon's not allowed to be in room when deal goes down... he might attack the brownie

2014 was chalked full of off the field distractions for us and you want to trade for a player who has a history of off the field problems ? Makes sense.

Oh yeah.....this thread delivers!

Wow those intangibles are ridiculous. I'm definitely for us drafting him. Where is he projected to go? If he's a 1st rd Pick I'd rather have Gordon. But if he's a 2nd rd Pick or later I'm defintely interested.

I don't know think the word intangibles means what you think it does.

I think we were giving a 2nd for him last year when the trade was pulled by new ownership. Since then his value has dropped due to sitting out a year and not being in shape... And your great idea is to give away our first. Isn't that perfect

I would give our second, especially Iupati leaves and we are granted an extra 3rd...

no guarantee of that at all and if they do get a comp pick, it would be in 2016, not 2015.

He's projected to go on the first round falling to us at 15 because of the off field issues. Now, I understand that this will be a risk but we really need a young freakish talent like green-beckham. This guy is just too rare. He was a 3 sport athlete in college, playing football, basketball and track. He was also a standout in the broad/high jump competition.
We have to give this guy a chance, he could seriously help us get back to the NFC championship next season because the league is not prepared for something like him on a team with so much talent around him, especially defensively. I know you guys gotta be with me on this. And imagine if jerry rice would step in to mentor this guy. San Fran might be the perfect place for him.
There's no way we trade a 1st or even a 2nd to Cleveland. This is pure caca. Trying to make that Madden team without factoring in reality.
doesnt he have like one year left on his contact? in that case no way he is worth anything too high. He would be a good 1 year rental and if he explodes we franchise tag him
DBG would probably be one of the worst picks we could make in the first round

Scratch that, he would be the worst
