From what I can gather we are looking at pick # 18 after the win and due to our SoS being so much better than any other 8-8 team, is that right?

Seems more likely to have the 15th overall pick. Personally I wanted Niners finish with a 7-9 record therefore they could be up in the draft chart (something like 11th or 12th overall pick). I would love they take playmakers on this draft rather than blue chip players.

If I looked at it right the 49ers pick 15th. The win only cost them 1 spot and that was to Miami.

You are right we would have been 18th, but KC, Buff, and Hou all own and are 9-7. The only other 8-8 team is Miami. With the clevland loss they would have won the tie breaker at 7-9. So if we loss we would have drafted 14th ahead of Miami and with the win we draft 15th.Originally posted by WINiner:From what I can gather we are looking at pick # 18 after the win and due to our SoS being so much better than any other 8-8 team, is that right?

I was hoping for a loss. But I guess the win didn't cost us many slots in the draft order as others said. I was hoping for around 11-12. But 15 is not terrible. It is actually around where Melvin Gordon is slotted. Or Dorial Green Beckham. Either one would be great.

Sounds like a perfect slot to draft WR DeVante Parker

So there yah have it. Wrong in the right direction =). If it only costs us 1 position I am happy the team won.

I'm not sure DeVante Parker will last to 15. We'll have to move up for him. Minnesota would love to have him.

We'll pick 15th...anyone who wished they'd have lost the game, I have to question their thinking. There was no way the vets on our team were going to let Harbaugh go out any other way than winning. Frank Gore said it best...and what he said is a reflection of how Harbaugh's players felt about him.

I'm hoping Minnesota will try and replace AP with Gordon. I know that's really high for a RB. Otherwise you know Bridgewater will pound the table for Parker
