He comes out early as a redshirt sophomore. IMO he is easily the number 1 TE in a weak year. He didn't put up big numbers mainly due to poor QB play but he is a big athletic receiving TE. He should be an early 2nd round pick

6'4" 250lbs. Reminds me of Travis Kelce. Very athletic and he catches with his hands.

I'd draft this kid in a heartbeat.....f**k McDonald and for all we know Vernon may not be back next year....We had Miller run a TE route for that TD today. If Williams declares I'd almost be more for drafting him than a majority of the early round WRs.

Totally agree on Maxx Williams...with Vernon doing his disappearing act and McDonald a bust so far, whomever the new OC is will need a playmaking TE and Williams is that, big-time.

He doesn't excel in one area, but he's VERY good in all areas - catching, route running, blocking, etc. Don't expect those kind of runs at the NFL, but he's a great mid-range receiving target.

sorry was on mobile. I meant that I want us to take Parker in the first and then Williams in the second.

And so what if we took a TE in the second a couple years ago? That has no bearing on anything in this discussion.
