Shaq is by far the better of the two. He can be an All-pro at what ever position he/team decides to play him. Washington used him as a corner, then SS and now Weak side LB. He also started carrying the ball for them the latter half of the year this past season and was effective. I'll take him on team any day. Good citizen too....we need these kind of guys on our team.
Lol. Im in Sac too. Shaq played QB, DB, RB, WR, LB, and was even the team kicker and punter.

He'll probably be a good fit as a 4-3 weakside OLB like Lavonte David. Not sure where he'd fit for us.
Thats exactly where hes going to kill it.

Not a scheme fit if the Niners stick with the 3-4.

Exactly my question. In the 2nd round I'd be willing to take that chance and if nothing else we'd have Brooks replacement at OLB or Betheas replacement at Safety

From his experience at safety he'd be able to do well in coverage, from his experience at OLB he'd probably be able to blitz pretty well. He could be very dangerous inside, OC's wouldn't know whether he was covering a TE or coming full steam alongisde Lynch or Aldon or behind Dockett or Carradine.

only thing I question is his ability to shed blocks if at ILB

Now that two of those three are gone, I wonder if Baalke is considering Shaq as a replacement
