ranking WRs

If DGB doesn't come out, I saw we go for Rashad Greene, Sammie Coates, or DeVante Parker. Speed is the order of the day. I would love to get a guy like Strong, but if we have a shot at a deep threat that has immediate starter capability, there's no way we can pass that up.

I keep hearing that parker is slow, but he always looks fast to me when I see him play. Is he just playing really slow people? I'd think that FSU DBs would be pretty fast.

Stoops/ OU seems pretty convinced Beckham Green is staying in college. If he stays he'll likely be a top 3 pick next year assuming he plays to his abilities. If you're a top 5 pick there's a 10 million dollar difference still on your 1st contract opposed to being middle rounder. I wouldn't project him until he announces that he's coming out. He's an elite talent and if he does come out I don't care how many red flags he has he's worth the gamble.

He could have promised to stay to keep things smooth, ut he could still come out. You'd think a lie like that would torpedo his stock, but who knows what/if this dude is thinking?

I think he's still a top 15 pick regardless, and getting to that big bonus for a 2nd contract after his 3rd year is the bigger payoff. Plus, that's a whole extra year with money in the pocket. Tough to pass up, IMO.

No Jaelen Strong?

Not a big fan of his. Reminds me of craptree.

As an ASU season ticket holder, I can tell you they are nothing alike. Strong is a lot like Boldin. He uses his body and hands to out-muscle DBs. It will be interesting to see his combine numbers. If he has a good combine, he could be a very early pick.

From what I've seen of Parker, he doesn't generate a lot of separation. That said, he's got a huge catching radius and does a great job of shielding defenders from the ball. He reminds me a lot of Alshon Jeffery.

His speed is fine. His route running needs work. I will showcase what I mean in a few days in his thread (dont have time right now).
