Obviously no way he makes it to #15 and no real need to trade up since there are so many excellent WRs in the draft. But, damn, it would be nice to have him on the roster.

Reggie Wayne me thinks. He's going to be a great one.

Fangio repeatedly said he prefers smaller NT's, why would they draft a guy that doesnt really fit their new DC's defense?

Wasn't that Tomsula's preference?

That's exactly who I see when I see Amari Cooper play. He is a lot sturdier than either Holt or Harrison. Don't think he has quite the hands of either and don't think he is the deep ball guy that Harrison was, but I think he is more dangerous with the ball in his hands than either one and more physical.

after watching many highlights from these top projected receivers... It comes back to this guy.
I hope teams outsmart themselves in the first round... Kevin White/Parker/Perriman/etc
and he some how falls to us.
watching the highlights from all these receivers and combine/pro days thrown aside... he is the main guy I see always breaking away from defenders... you just see the defenders get left in the dust. Where as with the other receivers, they are still a step or two away.
guy is going to be special at the next level.

He is Big Time! So even if he is there to draft we won't.

Does going up to get this guy make us better? (at the expense of what we gave up) My guess is if we didn't lose Willis and Borland the front office may have been more bold. It would be nice to get a superstar on offense, but it would probably be wise to stack up with BPA (assuming we draft well) If the niners traded up I am for it.

The only knock I have on Amari is that he doesn't have the biggest catch radius. Doesn't have the longest arms or the greatest vertical. That's me being picky though. Other than that, he pretty much has it all. Extremely polished. Going to be a damn good receiver.

Cooper is a crafty receiver; hes a guy who can make adjustments in his movements with ease.
Its "easy" athleticism. All the stuff where youre not taking the top off the defense--he will excell at. And hes also good going deep. Its just that the better corners will be a big challenge to him on deep routes.
But, all the little tricks the great crafty receivers use, cooper will master them because hes that kind of guy.

In analyzing the teams drafting above us, there is a very very strong probability Amari Cooper will still be on the board at 10-11. I sense we will trade our 1st and 4th to move up to 10-11 and take Cooper...at least if we're smart we will

Kaep is not good enough to use all that cooper offers.

I don't see any way Baalke trades up...unless it's for a player he, Tom Gamble and Tomsula are just head over heels in love with. TB has 9 picks going into the draft...and could make it 10 right off the bat by trading down, which he could easily do, depending on who offers the most. I'd say the odds of trading down are likely...the odds of trading up are slim to none.

So Blake Sims is better than Kap in your opinion
