General Draft Predictions

The 49ers stay put in round one and take BPA. Someone will fall that we didn't think would be there like Calvin Pryor, Kony Ealy, Brandin Cooks. Someone will fall to pick 30 that will be a good player. Then trade up to the top of the second round

The draft is worse than a two game losing streak around here. And i dont say that lightly a two game losing streaks around here are often seriously portrayed as the coming of the Apocalypse.

Draft day threads are more amusing than any game day thread i have ever been in.

Trade up a few spots to leapfrog the Patriots and grab Ra'Shede Hageman. Thats my guess.

49ers will be very aggressive in this draft hoping for Cooks, Fuller or ODB in the 1st

49ERS will trade up with either Titan #11 or Chiefs#23 and take a WR or CB they like.

Clowney will be a starter for 10 years in the league but will never make the probowl.

Mack will be a probowler.

Tuitt will make some GM look like a genius for drafting him.

49ers will draft one injured player and red shirt him, Covin, B Thomas or Easley!

Packers will draft a wr within top 3 rounds and he will become a probowler.

Jets will take a defensive player with their first pick and pass on wr.

I'm sure of one thing with this draft, the 49ers will draft somebody no one expects.

A babysitter and a parole officer with the first two picks!

My bold prediction is that the niners will have 2 first round picks.
1. Brandin Cooks
2.Kyle Fuller

By round 4 we will have covered all our needed positions, wr, cb, pass rusher, safety and ol

Okay, I'm going WAAAYYYY out on a limb with this one. Even though I "want" to jump up for a CB, our FO usually shocks the hell out of me with a pick even though it often works out well in the end, so my bold prediction is: (no laughing).....we trade up with the Ravens for a safety that falls to 17th spot, and "with the 17th pick of the 2014 NFL Draft, the 49ers select.....Ha Ha Clinton-Dix, Safety, Alabama. It's crazy enough that it might just happen, and everyone would freak out.....a normal 1st round reaction on the Zone.

We trade out of 30 into the second round, picking up a fourth, which we combine with a 5th to get back into the third. Trent works the second day of the draft so thouroughly that it will never be able to wear that dress again. Roger Godell is overheard saying, "I'm glad I'm off of the stage after day one. That gravel-voiced bastard is claiming souls out here!" Baalke packages all remaining picks outside of the third for 2015, hands the dude a list for the 7th comp saying, "just pick the first guy who's still there. We'll make him into an H-back."

I see a trade back as more likely than a trade up unless someone special falls to us at #30 or is close enough to trade up for with a 4th rounder or less.

Still, anything is possible.
