the LSU brothers beckham and landry
I'm all in on Beckham BUTTTT I fear he'll be gone before the 15th pick and it would cost too much to move up and get him.

I really think Montcrief will prove to be a star WR.

I also think Gabe Jackson G 6'4" 330 Mississippi St. will have a Larry Allen like career. Not saying he'll be as great as L.A. but he'll be close.

I see a lot of Ricardo Lockette in Donte Moncrief. NO THANKS.

Deone is an athletic freak -- he was a top perfomer at the combine in like all but one or two events.

Darqueze Dennard, Jason Verrett and Jared Abbrederis. High character blue collar players who will fit right in with the Harbaugh culture.

Abbrederis has injury/concussion concerns I believe.

Ding ding ding! We have a winner.

I'd add Donte Moncrief to that list. From a talent standpoint, he's as good as or better than Greg Little (Little is an absolute retard off the field though; and he's had had craptastic QBs).

And if Louis Nix drops 30 or the 2nd round, he's a must-have IMO.

If Brandon Thomas drops to the 4th or lower, he's a must-have too. Perfect guy for a team that's already set on the OL but could use some young blood.

Possibly Marcus Martin too. Wouldn't call him a must-draft, but he's close IMO.

I'm also a big fan of Archer! Good call

There's no way we should keep another pure fullback /backup on our roster. It's a waste. We just need an undrafted type that we can stash on our PS and only activate if Bruce gets hurt.

I agree to an extent, the Niners have drafted players at impacted positions before in the name of comp and a less expensive rookie. Also, it's not like we will have many of the rookies make the team or the field, especially late round picks. Idk where he is projected but if he is there later, I say why not.
Jason Verrett is a must IMO. A local kid who grinded from JUCO up to the Big 12, where he played against some of the best WRs in the country. I think he gives us an answer for Harvin, and Tavon. If we can sit at 30 and get him it would be one of the steals of this draft.

Athletic freak???

His combine numbers were about on par with Shawn Williams' numbers last year. Anyone who runs a 4.49 at 211 pounds & has a 36.5 vertical can't be labeled an "athletic freak."

say it you'all
Sammy Watkins, Clemson
or
Mike Evans, Texas A&M

if we traded up,
and got
either of these two ballers
they would propel our teem to the super bowl.

Yup but given nothing alarming leaked from his combine medical, I would still draft him in the back half of the 3rd round.

Maybe he's not an athletic freak, but how many safeties are there running in the 4.4s that are as big as him? Not very many. He's definitely one of the more athletic safeties in this draft class.

I agree!

Dri Archer is a must, 4th, 5th,....etc. i don't care where in the draft he gets picked, just please let him be in crimson and gold!!

My wife is a Golden Flash (if you didn't know Kent State are the Golden Flashes ... it's a kind of bird) and she'd love for Dri to be a Niner.

Trey Millard.

He's a perfect player for this offense in every single way imaginable. Good, high character guy, tough, resilient, versatile, very bright, can block, can catch, can run with the football, can contribute on special teams, I mean, what more do you want? He's the epitome of a Jim Harbaugh football player. A total "It's all about the team" sort of football player.

I've had Millard on all of my mocks ... If Miller goes down, Millard can lead block. If you need a yard in a heavy formation, Millard can do that. Need a TE, Millard can do that. Smart driven team leader who is a better athlete than it looks. The 49ers still need to replace some of the things Delanie Walker did ... Millard can do those things and more.
