love it. would love to see him matched up against seattle's man press coverage. just a matter of time before he gets a CB to open up his hips and he flies right by him.
The Eagles are interested in Oregon State WR Brandin Cooks, "with head coach Chip Kelly particularly interested in the wideout," reports Eliot Shorr-Parks of NJ.com.
It's no surprise that Cooks has caught Kelly's eye, and he could become DeSean Jackson's replacement. Coming out of college, the players were the same height (5-foot-10), but Cooks is 14 pounds heavier (189 to 175) and a smidgen faster (4.33 forty to 4.35). Cooks also put up far superior numbers despite playing in only two more games (226 catches/3,272 yards/24 TDs compared to Jackson's 162/2,423/22 touchdown).

Imo cooks is the player who could boost our offense more than anyone. He would burn any corner... especially sherman. You beat big corners with agility not size. As the fastest time 40 and his a agility shown in hilights. He could easily get us over the hump.

I highly doubt Jackson goes anywhere the whole will be released idea is getting over blown the kid has too much talent to be released
Cooks on the other hand NO doubt you have to trade up in the teens to get him but its possible last year they did it with Eric Reid
He is a pure slot receiver that lacks break away speed at the NFL level. Cooks is good in the open field but I wonder how he will get separation against press corners. He runs average routes and is also an average hand catcher.
Looking at a mid to late 2nd grade on him when it's all said and done. He should have stayed another year at Oregon State honestly.
What are you smoking he was the fastest receiver at the combine
Brandin Cooks: I'm versatile, I can catch, I can run routes, I can return kicks, I can run those fly sweeps. As we saw in the Superbowl, Percy Harvin had a couple fly sweeps with big gains and I feel like I can do that and do that at a high level. I tell those teams I'm very versatile.

If that's the Niners' pick Crabtree's job isn't safe.
There's no way on the planet that Brandin Cooks would threaten Crabs job.
