ok ok, I get it. Mays failed big-time, though it was not a surprise by any means; now we should avoid any other safety from the USC? You should be our GM, we would have a lot of success under your stewardship

In al seriousness. Bailey is a very athletic SS, played OLB last year. Sounds like a solid hart hitter, who can play in space very well.

If available Bailey is a very athletic SS and would be a great replacement for Whitner who will be expensive to sign imo

1. SS Dion Bailey USC
2. WR Davante Adams Fresno St.

With that said, I don't think Bailey is a 1st round pick, I think hes more of a 2nd or early 3rd. His speed just doesn't scream 1st round IMO. I probably would select Terrance Brooks or Craig Loston before him.

Im counting he is going to put up good numbers at the combine he played LB at USC in a bad system but had his best game against Stanford. I think he is more of a in the box SS which suits the 49ers imo

Wyoming junior QB Brett Smith declared for the 2014 NFL Draft.

The Wyoming football program is undergoing a bit of change with the firing of Dave Christensen, now Utah's offensive coordinator, and the hiring of North Dakota State's Craig Bohl. Smith is a very intriguing talent, utilizing a combination of mobility and quick release. It might sound crazy now, but we wouldn't be surprised if some teams rank Smith over Johnny Manziel.

Would love to have this kid as Kaep's backup.

Not to my liking the kid makes too many bad decisions ala Romo/Stafford the kid that really stands out is his WR Robert Herron kid looks explosive

I wonder if Sankey is going to bail as well? Only notable player that supposedly isn't declaring is Kasen Williams because of his injury.

Oregon junior CB Ifo Ekpre-Olomu is expected to bypass the NFL draft and return to campus next season.

He isn't leaving as much money on the table as Marcus Mariota, but Ekpre-Olomu is a very good prospect in his own right. Heading into the Alamo Bowl against Texas, he has collected 78 tackles, six passes broken up and three interceptions this season. Ekpre-Olomu was projected by most as a top-three cornerback and a first-round pick in May's draft.

Not sure if this will prove to be true, but it is interesting.

It is interesting, on the Oregon site it says he's still undecided, and that interview with him came out after the rotoworld claim. We'll see. I want him to enter so we have a better shot at Dennard

Well, you may get your wish. New report says he refutes earlier report that has him staying.

Oregon junior CB Ifo Ekpre-Olomu refutes a report stating he intends to stay at the school for another season.

This does not mean Ifo is declaring for the draft, rather he has yet to make a decision at this time. We were surprised by the initial report that the corner planned on staying in school for another year. He can certainly improve, but Ifo is a very talented prospect and could be a first-round selection. Expect to hear more after the school's bowl game against Texas.

Manziel and Evans will declare

The NFL Network's Gil Brandt reports that tomorrow's bowl game between Texas A&M and the Duke Blue Devils will be the last college football game for both Manziel and Evans, and this is news that definitely doesn't come as a surprise.

wow....UW with a mass exodus....I feel bad for Kasen Williams, I don't have a clue how he'd stack up against the WRs this year if he'd have not been hurt but I have a hard time thinking he'll have a good season next year staying at UW. The next QB doesn't look that good and I'm not sure if Williams is good enough to elevate his stock playing on a bad team.

I almost think he should just declare and bust his a** in workouts cause I think he's at best a day 2 pick no matter how you cut it. Maybe a Huskies fan can shine some light on this?

He should stay put for sure. The redshirt freshman Cyler Miles IMO will be a real solid QB for the Huskies. You may hear some rumblings about Troy Williams, but IMO Miles is a lock and could be a real bright spot for the Huskies going forward. I actually think the future is bright for the Huskies on offense. They will have Stringfellow, Ross, and Williams at WR. They will have the entire offensive line returning, and at RB they should be ok with Callier and Washington. There will be a hole at TE.

USC junior DL George Uko announced he will enter the 2014 NFL Draft.

Uko has experience all along the defensive line, seeing time at nose tackle, three technique and defensive end in the five alignment. We doubt he sneaks into the top-64, but Uko could intrigue teams that use a variety of fronts.
