They finally put the film of him against UCLA. He was the best player on the field in that game.

I have to admit I never really looked at Locket because he is small and I really want the niners to get a big WR with a huge catch radius. I just watched all the game tape draftbreakdown has on him and man does this guy get separation wow

If we pair this kid with Torrey and give Kaep some time to throw, we might be able to actually do something against the Seattle secondary

I really like him but I think we really need big body redzone threat WR. And then what do we do with Ellington?

On top of already having T. Smith. AND Patton.... We need at least 1 receiver over 6^3

Why? 80% of the top WRs from last year were under 6-3, this kid get's separation all the time. If he's sitting there in the 3rd he would be a serious steal. He's the same size and player as Antonio Brown, who was the leading WR last year with 1,700 yards and 13 TDs.
I could see him doing this to the LOB

If we don't go WR with the 1st two picks, I want this kid in the 3rd even if we have to move up....

I would be fine with getting him in the 3rd. My personal preference though is a huge catch radius having, RZ receiver like White, Parker or Strong.

FYI I'm on the move up bandwagon for White/Cooper
but if we wait until the 3rd to grab a WR, Lockett would be a huge steal...size goes out the window if you can get open on a regular basis. Just look at:
Brown, T.Y, Sanders,OBJ, Cobb,Tate etc...all are under 6 foot, were top 11 in stats, plus most (including Lockett) are great at KR duties.
Teams are trying to go bigger at CB and those bigger CB's have a hard time jamming up those small/quicker WRs....just ask the LOB in the SB

I LOVE this kid, and that's saying a lot coming from a die hard Baylor fan. He tore our secondary up. You can look at this kid on the field and see that he is a special player. I'm suprised he is rated as a 2nd to 3rd round prospect. I always felt like size was overrated in a reciver though. The NFL covets the Kevin Whites and DGB's because of size and guys like Lockett and Antonio Brown get looked over. This guy is hands down better than any WR we have outside of Torrey and AB. DRAFT HIM!

If they draft him, he will suck. Any wide receiver that Balke brings in sucks.

Right lol, he's drafted one WR in the 1st 3 rounds since being the GM.

Yeah, but that one guy sucked, so he obviously can't draft WRs. BTW, what is a sample size?
