WR looking good
Having Mariota where he you got him is hilarious, did u even watch him play? He was right there with Manziel, matter of fact, he's the reason Manziel left Oregon

I would actually put Marcus Mariota, Tahj Boyd, AJ Mcarron and Aaron Murray over Johnny Manziel. Manziel is Tebow 2.0.
Have you seen this guy yet?

Yes, but to be honest I haven't done what I feel is a sufficient look at him. Its a tough balancing act trying to find time to watch a player and feel good on where to rank him. For example, I don't have the time to watch every snap a player plays, and at the same time I can't evaluate a player off of a handful of plays.

So I have kind of a process where I first identify a player, then try to study them, then rank them.

I'll try to work on putting together a description of what I see when I see Marriota vs. Manziel.

But my main problem with Mariota is his slow release, I don't think he puts enough velocity on the ball, I think he is slow to go through reads and frankly I'm not a fan at all of Oregon's system preparing a QB for the NFL.

Manziel is ripe for a fall, but there just isn't much denying the quick-twitch athleticism he brings to the table. Manziel is much further along in developing his passing ability then Tebow was ever in college. The biggest problem with Manziel is he has a LOT of improvement to be done, and if he doesn't keep his ego in check he will never hit his potential. His high ranking is heavily based on potential, not where is at right now.

I agree with you on Manziel. I think some people just don't like his personality. He has great footwork (they're always shuffling and hes literally never off balance) and his throwing motion is solid. He just needs to get stronger and with his frame he can easily add muscle without losing quickness. His elusiveness is unmatched though. I can't believe people judge him so harshly. I guess it comes with territory but still if he perfects his long ball accuracy he's going to easily be a top 10 pick.

Yea the only reason I asked about Stephen Morris is because I personally think he's a top 5 QB. He has great footwork, a quick release, he has the size to take a hit, and his long ball accuracy is sublime. Im not good at scouting QBs but it looks like hes going through multiple progressions too. You can tell he's scanning the field. I guess Im a little biased cause I like the kid.

I pretty much agree with you on everything except maybe Kouandijo. Dont get me wrong I think hes a brute unlike any oline in this class but his footwork doesn't compare to Lewan. He might progress and honestly with his length and strength he doesn't have to be perfect. I just think when it comes to LT the footwork is where its at. I guess it really comes down to what your looking for in the position.

Anyways loved your rankings and Im looking forward to your defensive rankings.
updated, just have secondary left to finish off pre-season rankings
Cal's McCain is a OLB/DE prospect. Definitely a pass rusher.

No love for DeAndre Coleman?

Thanks, fixed on McCain.

DeAndre Coleman - Have not "scouted" him so he is effectively "unranked"

Edit: If a player isn't on the list above, it doesn't mean they are ranked "below", it most likely simply means they weren't on my pre-season radar. I had to cut off the list at some point of players to re-watch if I ever wanted to post anything.
