180 would be perfect for Matt Scott or an OT, or else I would agree with you.
Draft grades thus far from cbs sportsline:

18 B 49ers select: Eric Reid, FS, LSUI like Reid to step in and start right away. This move up is aggressive by a team that could afford it. Solid job.

40 A- 49ers select: Cornellius Carradine, DE, Florida StateI love the pick of Carradine by the 49ers. They can afford to be patient with him. When he's ready to be a star -- and he will be -- take over for Justin Smith.

55 B 49ers select: Vance McDonald, TE, RiceThe 49ers needed another move tight end with Delanie Walker gone. McDonald will fill that role.

88 A 49ers select: Corey Lemonier, DE, AuburnThis is another 49ers steal. He is a little light to play defensive end, but he can step in and play outside 3-4 rush linebacker.

128 A 49ers select: Quinton Patton, WR, Louisiana TechA tremendously productive receiver with the quicks and acceleration to thrive in the slot. Outstanding value in the late 4th and can contribute immediately between Michael Crabtree and Anquan Boldin.

131 A- 49ers select: Marcus Lattimore, RB, South CarolinaSan Francisco likes to redshirt their choices, and that's an ideal scenario for Marcus Lattimore as he recovers from his horrendous knee injury. A between-the-tackles hammer who could succeed Frank Gore while also picking up knee injury recovery tips in the process.

157 B+ 49ers select: Quinton Dial, DT, AlabamaA versatile guy who can line up at the nose or as a 5-tech DE, Dial can hold his ground in the run game and helps to account for the Niners' loss of Isaac Sopoaga and Ricky Jean-Francois.

cut dawson

Cut a probowl kicker who might be the best in the league for a rookie who might be a total bust?

This is crucial about Dial. When Justin Smith went down last year, teams ran right at RJF....if there's one thing that Dial is really good at it...it is setting and holding the edge at DE.

None as good as Celek or Morrah.

This. Drafting a kicker makes no sense at this point. You can't stash a guy like Hopkins on the practice squad, so why waste a pick? There will be plenty of talented undrafted kickers that they can bring in to training camp.

Joseph Fauria, 12 TD last year. Serious red zone target, but not much of a blocker.

Nick Kasa is still out there, I like him a lot with his size and potential. Chris Gragg and Ryan Otten also.
