Yea that's what he's listed at. Could be 6'2'' but he looks like a legit 6'3'' corner. Not a fan of his though.

Yes he's listed as 6-3 and about 210. He'll probably actually be closer to 6-2 205 and could easily become a free safety or stick at corner. He was definitely classified as an "athlete" when he was being recruited, probably could have been a good WR too lol.

Great list, OTC. I appreciate you taking the time to post this.

The players in bold are some of my favorites. Here are some of my comments though:

- IMO, Markelle Martin is probably an early to mid 2nd round prospect. By the time we pick in the 2nd, he'll probably be gone, so I would understand if we took a reach with our 1st round pick to select him.
- Casey Hayward will shoot up draft boards after the offseason. I really think he's that good. He'll be this year's Jimmy Smith as far as his stock skyrocketing. I can see him being a 2nd round selection.

Martin could sneak to the 1st with a great draft season. IMO he's the best safety in the class and someone will probably be content with reaching for him in the mid 20s.

I agree, Hayward is a frickin ballhawk (15 picks in 3 years ), unless he runs a poor 40, I don't see him falling outta the first day of the draft.

Did you see his pick in the bowl game? He jumped that route perfectly and literally took it out of the WR's hands. He' easily my favorite CB in the whole draft.

A possible late round back that I'm looking at is Jeremy Stewart out of Stanford.

No way he get's drafted. Not hating on the guy but he would be thanking his lucky stars if he sneaks into the 7th round. He would have to amaze people in his off season workouts, I already said JH will definitely be sending him a camp invite after the draft. Maybe we put him on our PS.

EDIT:

OTC do you really think Bruce Irvin will be taken in the second??? If he is available in the 3rd I'd love for 9ers to take him, he could definitely be a pass rush specialist early on and be a suitable backup for Brooks.

Casey Hayward is also my favorite corner in the draft.

As for Stewart, you could be right. He played in a system that used multiple backs, so it was difficult for him to see any consistent PT. However, I think he's got all the necessary tools to play in the pros. He's big, physical, and he's got a burst when he sees a hole.

Jayron Hosley? Im a huge VT fan and he is 1st rd worthy. I would be stoked to grab him!

Good job OTC. How about some more TEs? You only list one. Harbaugh loves TEs and we could use a taller one like the Pat's Gronkowski, or Jimmy Graham of the Saints, for red zone jump balls.

Or perhaps a running back? Frank is aging, Harbaugh, loves to run the rock, I will be shocked if we don't look at a RB this draft.
Robert Golden is from Arizona, not Arizona State.
I'm a HUGE fan of Hayward, he won't have the measurables of Claiborne or Kirpatrick, but I'd live for us to draft him
Great job.

Lots of very good talent for needs when we pick that would help us out next year.

Very excited for the playoffs of course and think we are going to win at least our 1st game but we do have some holes still.

FA will matter this year and I think we could pickup a WR.

That frees us up to go D (cb and pass rushing olb/de in draft)
Alshon Jefferey in the first? Even after you said you think he'll time slow in the 40? Don't think he'll drop to the 2nd?

Jefferey would be perfect for us, but alot of mocks have him going in the early to mid 1st round , but he is rated as a late 1st/early 2nd WR. I think that WR and CB will be drafted higher than rated due to the recent passing trends and rule changes.

Only chance we have at jefferey is if he runs SLOW and doesn't lose some of his fat. But even still, the guy just can snatch the ball and has such good balance and body awareness. Everything that Vernon doesn't

somebody...possibly us will bite in the first

Sounds like a Mike Williams V2...which is fine as long as you have a coach who can get through to him. Mike floundered around until Pete picked him up, cleaned him up, and got him going the right direction.
I know I've been rough on Jeffery, but I'm starting to warm up to the idea of drafting him (although I still think a team will select him much higher in the 1st). The only reason why I'm content with selecting him is because I have all the faith in the world on our coaching staff.

Hell no. For him to fall into the second he'd either have to run a 4.65 and/or have a bad medical plus Kendall Wright, Dwight Jones, and Sanu and even to a lesser extent Michael Floyd would all have to drastically out perform him for him to fall into the 2nd.
