exactly. Luck will be a 49er if and only if we pick 1 or if carolina is 1 and we make a trade they cant refuse or we might be not happy long term.

I dont know if just anybody can enter the sup. draft. I think they have to be declared ineligible to play another season of college football due to academic or other reasons. Im not 100% sure though.

Pretty sure thats not how it works anymore because of some fiasco back with Kosar in the day.
What happens is that people put in picks, then i think there is a lottery for the top 10 so they dont tank, trade for the pick or what not.

This. The Browns are decent.
But the Browns have mad picks to trade up with now.
If the Panthers finish in last again, the Browns will trade all those picks to get Luck.
