What's your reasoning for taking a TE when we have VD and Walker, plus the blocker Byham? Just curious.

Dolphins were late handing in their second 7th round pick, but decide on South Carolina TE, Weslye Saunders.

I had a few CB's I liked here but the pick before went that way.
I really kind of wanted to like a pass rusher, WR or DE as a practice squad guy but did not see the value over the TE I picked. I really liked Hynoski the FB but we already picked one up.
I think as a practice squad guy in a Harbaugh offense he could develop into a real threat. He is 6-6, 260 pounds and may run close to a 4.6.

Agreed. 7th round picks are usually not for addressing needs; they're usually more about projects that can be developed over time regardless of position. And we know JH likes his TEs.
