Some very good defensive prospects, notably Lynch. Apparently Diaco showed up at Williams house at 4:30 in the AM on a recruiting trip and that's when he knew he wanted to come to ND

Yup agreed. Am not a fan of his hurry up no huddle style, and it really has no place with us until the defense comes together. They need every minute they can get on the sidelines to stay as fresh as possible and be able to stop opposing offenses. Granted they played well in the final 4 games, we are still lacking talent (not counting incoming freshman) on D.

I'd rather not run that style of offense (hurry up no huddle) but would feel better about it if we had a strong defense. At least a year or 2 away from being able to field a good defense IMHO.

Yep

I would love to see them get some serious athletes at DB. I cant even remember the last time we had a lot of highly rated talent back there.
