ok fellas, lets see when we get closer.
lets rattle off some small school guys who have been good qb's
steve mcnair
joe flacco
big ben
its not outlandish for one to get taken early, i believe all these guys were taken relatively early in the draft.
lets see what happens. the kid has very good accuracy and an arm.

the niners will seriously be considering him at #7th pick in the draft.
uncanny accuracy, cannon arm......excellent ability to go through multiple reads on plays.
the kid is a great prospect.
i live in Philly and have been following him closely here at Univ of Delaware.
lets see if my eyes are fooling me as we lead up to the draft
What are his measurements?

A team would have to be clinically insane to make that selection. Too bad Al Davis is not drafting in the first round this year.

I'm almost positive he meant "the #7 pick in the 4th round"
I don't think I'd do that either

Yah, I think Devlin will raise his stock, but not to the 7th overall pick. I'm willing to bet, by the time the draft rolls around, he'll be a 2nd-3rd round pick. And between those rounds my favorites are:
Ricky Stanzi
Pat Devlin
Andy Dalton
Christian Ponder

I luv this kid.. My choice, but not at #7,, now if we get a FA vet (Palmer, Fitzpatrick, etc.) or trade for a Kolb, then maybe we trade down and take him later in draft.

He does not have a cannon arm, he has a very average arm. He does have good accuracy though.

I shall miss that. Can't the NFL give the Raiders a first round comp pick for Al living so long?
