OTC would you look at Ahmad Black in the late rounds as a safety option?

Penn State played well against Florida, Northwestern played well without their starting qb. The two Michigan schools should be ashamed of themselves.

I'd like to get Wisconsin QB Scott Tolzein. I think he'd make a solid backup, at the very least.

Dareus is having a good day, he has to be double teamed to slow him down.
Beast. Uncontainable. He's been in the backfield all day.
Marcell Dareus is a man possessed today. He's also not huffing and puffing like Adrian Clayborn out there.
interesting thing about clayborn is that he has paralysis in his rt shoulder---it hasnt slowed him at iowa but id be very wary about taking for the pros

Black is a good safety, expected to go somewhere around the 3rd round. We would probably have to take him there.

If TCU wins this game the new excuse will be that they played the big ten which is a bad conference. Too bad these teams can't get the respect they deserve because that would take money away from the big schools.

Size won't effect his draft status?

Clayborn has Erb's Palsy.

Not really, not for a SS prospect. Didn't affect Bob Sanders and Donte Whitner, both guys who were 5-10 (Sanders 5-8), and went in the 1st round.
Black could feasibly fall to the early 5th if he works out average or poorly, but he's a late 3rd round grade right now.

^^^ Gotcha OTC.
PS I wish we had an O-Line that could drive off the LOS and protect like Wisconsin!

Whoops, you're right, my mistake. I knew Whitner for a fact, but didn't double-check on Sanders.
He was very close to being a first rounder, however.

I'm impressed with Dalton early, anticipating the throws well. Ideally, I'd like the 49ers to draft someone like him, and get a guy like Orton to start while Dalton would develop. This would allow us to focus on strengthening other key areas earlier in the draft.

I like Andy Dalton, too. Watched him a couple times this year and he's got an arm, can run, connects a lot on 3rd down, and has great accuracy.
