With their 2nd round pick the New York Jets select

OLB Jason Worilds Virginia Tech

Many directions the Jets could go here in the 2nd round. After addressing WR(Tate) in the first round I believe the focus here should be defense for the Jets. Safety is an option but the Jets picked up Brodney Pool in FA and most of the 2nd round value free safeties have been selected already.

I believe the Jets would think long and hard here between a potential stud 3-4 DE Geno Atkins and a solid pass-rusher OLB Jason Worilds. The Jets could definitely use an upgrade from Bryan Thomas and Vernon Gholston has been a bust thus far. Still though, they also need to address an aging line. Shaun Ellis has been underrated his whole career but he's not getting any younger. Jenkins hopefully can get healthy because he will only help make the run defense be as dominate as the Jets #1 pass defense.

IMO a pass-rusher is a bigger need right now and the Dline can be addressed with their next pick in the 4th round where there is quality depth still available in the middle rounds. Worilds stock has been on the rise lately as well and he'd present solid value at the end of the 2nd.

Easy pick for the Niners here - with OL and pass-rusher needs taken care of, they go with their next most glaring need. Not only they get a kick returner, they get a RB who can line up in the slot as well. He can run, he can catch, he can play some wildcat as well. A multi-purpose player who will give Niners a much needed boost in the special team and big play threat.

With their second 2nd rounder of the 2010 draft, the SF 49ers draft :
Dexter McCluster RB/KR Mississippi

Colts get a difference maker for their special teams in Javier Arenas
the pick is Navorro Bowman.
The Ram's select:

Daryl Washington, MLB TCU
Although OT is important, players like Fox and Capers have too many question marks to waste a 3rd rounder on them. Schwartz wishes to make his team similar to Fisher's down in Nashville. After rebuilding his defense and drafting a new leader of the offensive line, Schwartz knows that to have the best defense, time control would be essential. Therefore, with the second pick of the third round, the Detroit Lions select:

Toby Gerhart, RB, Stanford

The choice was tough between Gerhart and Dwyer. Dwyer's crappy showing in drills and speed has shown the possibility that being in the triple option inflated his numbers. Gerhart singlehandedly carried a Stanford team that clearly overachieved and almost beat a very good Oklahoma team by running over their stout running defense.

Although there's a fear he was overworked at Stanford and may be losing his legs, Gerhart is just too promising to pass up and with Kevin Smith, will allow Gerhart to not have to carry the Lions running game. He will put a hard-working attitude in Detroit and allow for not only the defense to rest, but allow Stafford to have a legitimate running threat for PA to Johnson, Burelson, and Pettigrew.
With their 3rd round pick the Tampa Bay Buccaneers select
OG/OT John Jerry Ole' Miss

To much value here in the 3rd round to pass up. The picks in the 2nd and 3rd rounds here for Tampa would go along way in helping their Franchise QB Josh Freeman succeed. WR Thomas provides him with a tall and fast playmaker and the two new Olineman Saffold and Jerry will only help his confidence in the pocket. When Freeman had time to throw in his rookie season he was able to make things happen. Making sure he's protected has to be the key for them to have any kind of success.

Need a CB, S and a DE but didn't like the value here at the top of the third round. Plenty of options for those positions in the 4th and 5th rounds. The signing of Sean Jones could possibly fill the safety void. Again IMO to much value here in the 3rd to pass up this potential stud in John Jerry.

Round 1: Gerald McCoy DT
Round 2: Demaryius Thomas WR
Round 2: Roger Saffold OT
Round 3: John Jerry OG

Not a bad first two days IMO.

Koa Misi, OLB

Cant believe this is still going on. I believe I have a Denver pick coming up sometime in round 3. Please make the pick for me as I will most likely be out of town by then and not able to make the selection. Thanks.
Cleveland Browns select Tony Pike Qb Cincy
