Yay Area's Final Mock Draft

R1 (11) Mykel Williams, DE, Georgia - Lots of upside. Great size, length, and athletics ability. Can set the edge very well. But does not have much pass rush production.
R2 (43) Carson Schwesinger, LB, UCLA - Not the biggest or fastest, but his football IQ and instincts allow him to play fast. Very good in coverage. Solid tackler.
R3 (75) Andrew Mukuba, S, Texas - Found his niche as a deep safety while at Texas. Solid athlete. Great football instincts and ball skills.
R3 (100) (Comp - Ran Carthon) Charles Grant, OT, William & Mary - Good length and wingspan. Great athlete, ideal for a zone blocking scheme. Will likely need a redshirt year to get stronger and adjust to the quality of competition.
R4 (113) CJ West, DT, Indiana - Short and stocky at 6'1'', 315 lbs. In the DJ Jones mold. Great potential as a run stuffing nose tackle.
R4 (138) (Comp - Chase Young) Jamaree Caldwell, DT, Oregon - Similar to West, he is on the shorter side, at 6'2'' 325. Also a solid run stuffer, but is a surprisingly good athlete for someone his size, and shows potential as an interior pass rusher.
R5 (147) (Via Washingon via New Orleans) Logan Brown, OT, Kansas - Similar to Grant, he has solid size, length, and wingspan. Great potential, but he is more of a project, with only one season of starting.
R6 (160) (from Vikings) Cobee Bryant, CB, Kansas - Great size at 6' 180 lbs. Not the fastest corner but he is very productive and feisty and plays with attitude similar to Lenoir and Green.
R7 (227) (from Panthers) Teddye Buchanan, LB, Cal - Solid athlete. Good size. Better in coverage than against the run, where he is twitchy, light on his feet, and plays in space really well.
R7 (249) (Comp) Jalin Conyers, TE, Texas Tech - Route running needs work, but he is a decent blocker, and his size, speed, and ball skills make him a decent developmental TE.
R7 (252) (Comp - Ray Ray McCloud) Jacory Croskey Merritt, RB, Arizona - Great performance at the Shine Game. He is a quick processor, can work through crowded lines, and the quickness to be one cut talent that break runs.
I can get down with this draft

I just can't imagine not getting a starter on the offensive line this season. I can't fathom the idea. I think we have no shot if we don't improve our offensive line. We have no left guard. We have a crappy right tackle and Trent could retire at any time. It could be this season if he doesn't have hope that will win if I'm Trent, I'm going to all the off-season activities to make a judgment, whether I play or not. I believe we need an offensive tackle in the first round and then we take grant later. To allow him to start at left guard and let him train under trim. The defensive line is way deeper in this draft and you can find quality starters in the second and third
Perfect. Well done
