MBA 2nd mock draft 2025 - Post Super Bowl and pre Combine

After watching the Eagles dominate the Chiefs in the Super Bowl, the blueprint is even more clear for the Niners to rebuild both lines of scrimmage to get back to contending for a title. I am not going to try and predict what the Niners will do during free agency. This is based on the NFL Mock Draft Database big board and made one trade with Cards (SF 11th pick for the Cards 16th pick, 78th pick and 114th pick) allowing them to move up for Shemar Stewart Edge.

Round 1 Armand Membou OT Missouri - one of the most prolific run blockers in this draft at OT who also has the arm length to be a good pass protector too.
Round 2 Derrick Harmon DT Oregon - compact and twitched up lineman with three down ability and a nasty streak; can handle double teams and be a one gap penetrator
Round 3a Maxwell Hairston CB Kentucky - instinctive CB with high level ball skills and the ability to create turnovers in a zone scheme
Round 3b Isaiah Bond WR Texas - explosive vertical threat receiver who can create big time plays for an offense
Round 3c Andrew Mukuba S Texas - safety/NCB who can play anywhere in the secondary with the high end athleticism to make big plays
Round 4a Anthony Belton OT/G NC State - physically imposing player who could play tackle or guard with an excellent blend of hand usage and power
Round 4b Barrett Carter LB Clemson - athletic and versatile ILB with a three down skill set; replacement for Greenlaw next to Fred
Round 4c Antuan Powell- Ryland EDGE Virginia Tech - diversified pass rusher with skills to consistently win from a variety of different alignments
Round 4d Nohl Williams CB Cal - experienced, highly competitive and physical boundary CB
Round 6 Jackson Hawes TE Georgia Tech - primary inline TE who's ability as a blocker will earn him playing time
Round 7a Simeon Barrow DT Miami - elite run defender who consistently stones players at the point of attack
Round 7b Jackson Slater C/OG Sac State - a clinician in the run game with great power and fundmentals; played OT but will move inside in the pros
Round 7 Marcus Yarns RB Delaware - explosive and electric ball carrier who can take it to the house at any time; good receiver and special teams upside as a returner

Good draft. Mine is similar with the exception of 2 dt. Would be a good off-season if the draft played out this way.
Love everything about it except for Bond.

What's your opinion of him?

Nothing against the player, i just don't think we typically maximize players of this archetype (he's similar to Cowing) and i think the third round nets us another difference maker on the DL, inside or out.

Point taken. Bond reminds me more of JSN from the Seahawks. A big play threat who can get himself open with good releases and run most of the route tree. With Deebo gone, Niners have to consider taking someone in the draft if they don't sign someone in free agency. Taking another DT at that point would be guys like DeMonte Capehart from Clemson, Ty Robinson from Nebraska or Omarr Norman-Lott from Tennessee. Combining them with Harmon would be a good idea, too.
I don't think Belton lasts until the 4th round. Nice mock
After the combine, I feel pretty good about my mock, except for my picks at WR, G and Edge. Would probably go with Jaylin Noel from Iowa St over Bond, Tate Ratledge from Georgia over Belton and David Walker or Jah Joyner over Ryland at Edge.

The first 2 picks are great. I'd take that for sure.
