Round 4b Julien Davenport 6'7" 318 lbs OT Bucknell - OT who had a good Senior Bowl; much needed depth.....not sure about this wasnt he pushed around alot at tha combine ????
Take out VanDerdoes replace him with a LB...

a 6'2" and 201 lbs WR is hardly a "big" outside target. I do like the player, tho.
I think Blair Brown goes much earlier than the 7th.

If you want to split hairs, Thomas could be a stand up OLB. Then again, it's a good point. The Niners currently have 13 LB's on the roster. Brown is rated higher elsewhere, but is listed as a late 6th rounder/early 7th rounder on CBS Sports. Would be a great value at that spot.

Jones is bigger than what we have currently on the roster except Eric Rogers and Smelter. Add 6'6" Hodges to the mix and the Niners will be better off than before to go along with Garçon and Kerley.

Big refers to combo of height and weight. It's a height-to-weight ratio. TO wasn't a big WR because he was a 6'3", he was a big WR because he was 6'3" and 225 lbs. Zay Jones is light at 201 lbs. He weighs about the same as the average cornerback in the NFCW.

Does Blake Bell make cuts with this new regime? If we draft a TE in the first 4 rounds, I would have to assume Bell is adios. Have to figure that McDonald-Celek-Paulsen will make the team, and we have Juice who will play TE a little as well. Do we look to trade Bell if we can? Or perhaps Celek if we can get anything?

Hodges will likely play a hybrid FB/H back position similar to how they may use Juszczyk. Celek and Bell may both be gone.
