What qualifies as a bad mock for you?

Not a lot. Some are better than others but if you can take time to write up a mock I'm normally going to say nice mock or not a bad mock. Unless it just doesn't make any sense for any of the needs for are team or just bad fits as players to scheme. I just like to commend everyone for taking time to write stuff out. Thanks

Thanks NC! I did sub/edit a CB for Elflein as I had missed the Zuttah signing, but am still not totally sure they won't take a center. I'd be happy with this offense and am assuming Kyle Shanahan is able to sign Cousins next year or develop Peterman or Kelly.

I'd be fine with Davis, but I believe Williams was a man playing among boys in college and will make a smooth transition to the NFL.

Yeah I like Williams too, but you could say the same on Davis...plus he's by far a better route runner

When I watch them I am more impressed with Williams ability to shield defenders away from the ball, but I really would not be sad if either made their way to the niners.

Edit: I'll admit I watched some of Williams games, but only watched video selections of Davis. This can give you a skewed view so will be interested in who the niners might rank higher and which will be drafted first. Williams competition was certainly at a higher level.

Agreed. Slight edge to Williams. Williams played big-boy NFL-ready defenses all year in huge games (tons of press and VERY physical at the LOS and doubled a lot) and Mike was clutch when it counted the most and he caught just about everything despite poor passes and getting beat up. Davis is a bit faster and his routes look a bit better but then again, you get clean releases and piss poor tackling playing Chipmonk State. You can't teach what Williams has. Shanahan and LaFleur can help refine his routes in this WCO which will just make him unstoppable at the NFL level. He's already mastered the back shoulder route and RZ; two things that can elevate you in the NFL. Remember Patton trying a back shoulder? Torrey trying a RZ fade?
