Cut candidate

Are there any possible cut candidates that would be a good inexpensive fit for the 49ers.

Kamara is going to get cut.
I know he's old and was banged up in 2025 but he and CMC on the field at the same time would be a matchup nightmare.

Not a cut candidate, but seeing lots of noise about a potential Herbig trade that id be all over for the right price.

Apparently Tremaine Edmunds. That would be such a wild pairing with Fred. Crazy length and speed.

Kamara is a guy who could do the exact same things as CMC, maybe not as well. Kyle probably more willing to split carries between Kamara and CMC versus CMC and Brob.

Commanders released C Tyler Biadasz.

Biadasz joined the Commanders in 2024 and started all 31 games he played. The veteran center's release comes with one year still left on his deal, but it can net the team savings just north of $8.285 million if he's designated as a post-June 1 release. A one-time Pro Bowler, Biadasz will be 28 at the start of next season and earned a PFF grade of 71.5 while playing on 954 snaps, per PFF. He should have plenty of suitors on the open market in the coming days.

Here's a signing the 9ers SHOULD be after. I really can't stand Jake Brendel.

He is horrendous in coverage from what I recall

Gonna have to vet the injuries he suffered at the end of the year, because i assume that heavily played into their decision. But yes, if healthy...

Yea I'm here in DC and dude was solid but he knee got shredded on xmas I believe. I think his ankle got messed up too.

It sounds like a cap cut deal.

He was highly regarded out of college and was good, not great in Dallas. Solid in DC.

He is a younger version of Brendel. Very similar ratlngs. Biadasz is slightly better in PP, not quite as good in run blocking as Brendel. Biadasz had a $9.7 million AAV this past season. He will likely get at least that much in FA.

I suspect the 49ers may give NO Center Luke Fortner a look. 27. Better pass protector than either Brendel or Biadasz, though not quite there in run blocking. Estimated market value of $6.1 Million.
