Trade targets

That's why I want Thibs from the Giants

This is a really good point. Trading for a DE now that isn't a rental and will be here next year, too (and maybe beyond). The OL needs to be upgraded big time and really hoping that will be a focus area of their next draft.

That never even crossed my mind excellent point.
Jennings + a pick for Brian Burns
or
Aiyuk + a pick for Brian Burns

edit:
and then trade Huff in the off-season

Lynch needs to get on the phone NOW to bring some reinforcements to this D and bring the moral up.

DE- Bradley Chubb, Miami
DE- Cameron Jordan, NO
DE- Kyle Van Noy, Bal
MLB- Demario Davis, New Orleans
LB- Quincy Williams, NYJ
OG- Kevin Zeitler, Tenn
FS- Geno Stone, Cin
FS- Kevin Byard, Chi

Those are my targets and wouldn't cost a ton. Respected vets who will show the team that management is serious about winning.

Who do you have as trade targets?

Those are all nice targets who could actually help, really think the bold is doable. If possible (Bengals / Bears not tanking yet) either FS would be big help. Maybe Simmons or Whitehead (currently not playing with a team) are available

Carl Granderson would be nice, but he might cost a 3rd (at least) and I'm not sure if Saints want to rush him out, he's playing good right now even tho they are going nowhere quickly.

Yall really need to stop the fantasy of trading BA, no team is going to give anything good for a guy coming off a massive injury who's making 30 mil per. Then the fact they add more dead money, then you wanna have the dead money and take on Burns' huge contract even tho I do like him. NYG would trade Thibadeux before Burns since he's not signed long term

Trey Hendrickson dream has slipped away. I hope they're not and trade for Quinnen Williams and Arden Key or Will McDonald.

Will McDonald & Kieon White would help strengthen & make ur dline depth even better for next year not only this year without killing the cap space

It would be costly but, if a 1st isn't required, this is the main guy I want now for this team's DL. He's only 27 and is the veteran difference maker they need for the IDL - he controls the interior to help stop the run and also has the ability to get after the QB (has averaged over 7 sacks the last five years). Put him on this DL and he's a playmaking fixture for years to come (under team control up until 2028). And, Saleh knows all about him.

The more realistic question about him: Would the Jets even consider trading him? He's the type of player you continue to build a D around.

I'd do it for a 2nd and 4th tbh. We just really, really need our 1st to replace Trent.

The Jets are miles away from competing. They just barely won their first game of the season and they don't even have a QB yet. At least the Titans have one (for now) so they at least have a reason to not trade Simmons. And QW's contract is due to be re-done this offseason.

The guy on defense the Jets really need to keep and build around is Sauce. He's three years younger and a multi-time All-Pro.
Initially I was opposed to trading draft capital for established player ie Max Crosby, but now I'm very much open to the idea only because I do not trust the Niners ability to draft! On a related note, I'd LOVE to hold onto Mac Daddy but this team needs new blood! How about Mac, a first and second for Crosby?
"I don't know how it's going to play out in Minnesota, but I know this year didn't go well. The Niners very much like Jefferson..I think they're going to be big game hunting at receiver."
