Trade targets

We are 4-2 and tied for 1st with Seattle and the Rams with a cakewalk schedule upcoming.

Lynch needs to get on the phone NOW to bring some reinforcements to this D and bring the moral up.

DE- Bradley Chubb, Miami
DE- Cameron Jordan, NO
DE- Kyle Van Noy, Bal
MLB- Demario Davis, New Orleans
LB- Quincy Williams, NYJ
OG- Kevin Zeitler, Tenn
FS- Geno Stone, Cin
FS- Kevin Byard, Chi

Those are my targets and wouldn't cost a ton. Respected vets who will show the team that management is serious about winning.

Who do you have as trade targets?
I wouldn't do any rental trades. If we could get kayvon or Simmons then by all means pull the trigger. Outside of that, let the chips fall where they may.
I would for sure trade for all those targets. If we beat Atlanta next week, Tampa loses at Detroit and Green Bay loses at AZ, we are tied for the #1 seed in the NFC with a very easy upcoming schedule. Our offense is coming back too and we are 3-0 in our division.

Why? How good do you really think this team can be given the injuries and huge amount of dead cap? There's no way we are SuperBowl contenders. The odds of that were slim with Nick Bosa and Fred Warner, 2 of the best players in league. Whats the best case scenario now? We barely make the playoffs and are one and done? We need to save all future assets and just chalk this season up as a lost. We'll come back better next year healthier, a better cap, and hopefully some good draft picks.
We could maybe throw a 5th or something at the Saints for Davis/Jordan but that'll pretty much be a "we have Warner/Bosa at home" trade. Not sure it's even worth the pick.
We are now sellers not buyers
None of them players listed would make a difference.
No trades. We roll with what we got and if it's not enough then so be it.

This. Lynch has to step back at look at the big picture.

It sucks, and the coaches and guys on the field need to continue to fight for every inch until they are eliminated, but a GM is this situation needs to see the bigger picture.
Trading away your future to add short term players to a team that has no chance of winning a superbowl would be criminally stupid. Lynch would be the laughing stock of the NFL. Get serious. We are sellers without much to sell..at best. We need to hold on to every pick we have and if we can add to them, do it and don't look back. In case you forgot, our list of needs is long. OL, DBs, DL, OL, OL, OL, OL…

If we are going to be involved in any trades it is to trade away players to get some picks. And use those picks to FIX THE OLINE. We have to focus on Next Year when hopefully we get all our playmakers back.

Yes, because this team is so good at drafting and we all know Shanahan won't draft to fix the Oline.

Trade the picks for proven players.

I just did the free three-round mock at PFF and just selected the highest rated available OL at our slots, and they gave me an A+ lulz.
Hard for me to accept the focus on next year analogy when we're in first place in the hardest division in football, and have an easier schedule coming up. I'm all for adding a few pieces on defense to remain competitive and see what we can do.
