Trade for DE ?

And 1 more question, do we get the comp pick when he signs a huge deal elsewhere or no bc we traded in season for him ?

As far as the comp pick we would get it. We got a comp pick for Chase Young so I don't see why we wouldn't receive on if we traded for Trey. I don't think giving up the draft capital it would take to get him would be smart

Thibodeaux Makes sense due to log jam in in NY, they suck and he is young and would not necessarily be a rental

But, IMO I think we should be looking for that one year rental. I know Huff isn't a lock to be re-signed, but he fits so well with Saleh that they need to re-sign him. Then again the DE we would trade for could also be worth re-signing but we'll worry about that problem when we get there.

Huff isn't a FA. Signed for a big number in 26 that they will bring down with an extension.

He's gonna have a high price tag attached i think.

Ty, and agreed the price tag will be a lot I think too, but I'd do a 2nd and future 3rd lol I guess the JD got me wishing on a star.

Is that the 5th year option or you mean to resign? Guess it's a moot point, both are pricey

Compensation. Giants are gonna hold out for a top offer. If they can get him for their 3rd sure.

Phillips from the Dolphins would be more likely for the price.

Yeah a comp would be the only way I make that trade, I think bengals are asking a lot for him though like a 2nd+

I would really like this move because he can stop the run & rush the passer in our defense. Make the call Lynch especially since we got $7 million back off Bosa's contract this year

Well even more reason to look for a one year rental. No way they invest that much money at DE.
Trade for Thibodeaux offer two 2nds.

He is super young at 24 and IF he balls out the rest of the year and puts up 12+ sacks sign him longer term and trade Bosa in the offseason for a 1st and 2nd (or two 1sts if he is worth what Parsons is) to more than offset the compensation.

Then draft another stud EDGE in the 1st round next year.

Or if somehow we could afford Bosa and Thibodeaux can keep them both as an option.

Doubt they give up that much when we have Huff and Mykel.

And as of right now I want the best available offensive tackle in this upcoming draft.
