1st it's devastating new we received on Bosa ! Just horrible ! Now let's see who we can trade for.

Bradley Chubb ? Always injured tho

Jaelin Phillips ? Always injured too

Brian Burns ? Expensive $

Kayvon Thidbodeax ? Would love it but expensive picks

who else ?
Shaq Barrett have anything left ? He's a FA

Kayvon was the first guy I thought of.
I'm thinking we go for a rotational type of guy. Anyone else will probably be too expensive. Someone one can rotate in with:

Huff
Williams
Sam O
Yetur Moss

Jadeveon Clowney would've been good right about now.

Too early to tell who will be sellers but this Front Office hasn't been shy about making deals

All I know if we lost one of the most impactful players on the team. You can't just replace him or come close to replacing him with an elevation from the practice squad. If they want to win the Super Bowl or get there, they need to sort of make a splash.

Well put and agree 100%, an absolutely unfortunate situation.

I'm happy Lynch is very aggressive, so I'm expecting a trade for someone like Hendrickson, Hunter, Jordan, or Chubb. Maybe even someone who played under Saleh, like Jermaine Johnson. Something is coming.
They have to be smart about the splash. Problem with most of those guys is they have huge contracts.

Johnson would be interesting. Has his own injury concerns so it'd need to be cheap.

Carl Lawson would be worth a call if he's still in shape.

No.

Sick of trading away our good picks on a doomed year. 49ers do that desperate stuff too much. No more. Bosa gets healthy, we get high picks, hopefully hit again and we are ready to go in 2026.

This year was always about the growth and development of multiple young guys. Last years draft and this years draft.

Exactly, and I know they'll be smart about a trade. My guess is that they won't go over a 3rd round pick and they shouldn't. But IMO, they could easily recoup that 3rd with the picks they'll be getting back in compensation, possible 4th round picks.

I disagree, time is ticking, our stars are older and injury prone so by week 6 if we are healthy I think we add a good-great edge player depending on contract wise, our young DBs can not be left out to dry bc of no pass rush, so I believe we make a move by week 6-7 like I said, but like Kohole said I do not see them giving any higher then 3rd rd picks, prob a couple tho.

I agree and I'll also add that this year was also about getting our cap situation straightened out. I'd sure hate to see us backslide on our cap project because of this injury.
Question, I'm getting ahead of myself or more like hoping but say bengals do keep on losing and niners trade for Hendrickson, his cap hit comes off next year bc we won't resign him, so it's the same thing as carrying that money over right basically bc he will be gone and the $25 million is off our books ? And 1 more question, do we get the comp pick when he signs a huge deal elsewhere or no bc we traded in season for him ?
