I wonder how much Milton Williams is going to command.
Safe to say the trenches are important after watching Philly dismantle the chiefs.

$15M-$20M APY is my guess. He's not a good run defender, so his bread and butter is a pass rushing DT.

great double down on a J Hargrave 2.0
Free agency is to fill our roster needs. So far we need:

*One starting DT (I don't expect us to keep Jordan Elliot and we are in trouble if we are starting Maliek Collins)

*One starting DE (Floyd is not a 3 down end and Yetur Gross Matos is over paid and didn't contribute aside from one game. He should be a post June 1 cut)

*One starting LB. I think Greenlaw is gone. He wants to be the man. Probably our biggest need if Greenlaw leaves.

*One starting CB/NB. We have no-one aside from Lenior and Green.

*One starting FS. I don't expect us to re-sign Hufunga unless the plan is to start him at SS. Maybe he takes a cheap 1 year deal to re-coup his value but I think someone will pay him more than we are willing

*One starting LG

*One starting C. Brendel has no buisness starting for us anymore. He is a complete liability.

Free agency:

C:

*Drew Dalman (ATL) Probably the best fit of any player at any position in free agency. His Dad was a Niner for 7 years.

LB:

*Jamien Sherwood (NY Jets) would be a great replacement and he knows Saleh and the system. Plug and play LB. Former DB with good side line to sideline range. 158 tackles. 98 solo. 10 TFL. 2 sacks

*Shaq Thompson (Carolina) coming off a knee injury but still a solid vet who probably wants to win after being in Carolina for his career. Could take a cheap 1 year deal until a rookie is ready to start.

3 tech DT:

*Milton Williams (Philly) Showed up in the SB. Elite penetrator. Would replace Hargrave as the 3T. He's going to get paid.

*Osa Odighizuwa (Dallas) Under-rated disruptor. He would be a fit as 3T shooting gaps.

*Morgan Fox (LA Chargers) 6'3, 275. Undersized but elite penetrator. One of the best in the league. 15.5 sacks the past 3 years.

Among IDL qualified (20% snaps): Pressures: 32 (12th) Pass-rush win rate: 15.7% (7th) Pass-rush efficiency: 6.7 (6th)

He would be a HUGE improvement over Jordan Elliot as a designated pass rusher.

1 tech NT:

*Calais Campbell (Miami) 38 years old but was one of the leagues best run defenders. Strong as a bull. Probably takes a 1 year deal like Shaq Thompson to win. 82.3 PFF overall grade (7th overall) 85.9 run defense (1st overall)
6'8, 310
52 tackles, 5 sacks, 12 TFL, 5 PD

*DJ Jones (Denver) Still an elite run stopper.

Corner:

*Paulson Adebo (New Orleans) Good starting outside corner. 6'1, 195. 10 INT and 43 PD in 4 years.

*Kristian Fulton (LA Chargers) Excellent nickle corner

DE-

*Dayo Odeyingbo (Indy) 6'6, 290. Started 14 games last year. 16 sacks the past 4 years

*Matt Judon (ATL) Had a down year last year but still had 5.5 sacks. Was elite off the edge before that. Probably takes a 1 year deal.

Predictions:

C- Drew Dalman (7 years, 60 mil. 2 void years)

CB- Paulson Adebo (3 years, 30 mil)

LB- Jamien Sherwood (2 years, 24 mil)

DT- Morgan Fox (2 years, 7.5 mil)

DT- Calais Campbell (2 years, 10 mil, 5 guaranteed)

DE- Matt Judon (2 years, 12 mil, 6 guaranteed)

Draft:

First 4 rounds: DT, FS, OG, OT, DE, CB

Cut:
Jake Brendel
Deebo Samuel
Yetur Gross Matos
Jordan Elliot

Pre-Draft Roster:

LT- Trent Williams
LG- Spencer Burford / Nick Zakelj

TE1- George Kittle

QB1- Brock Purdy

9T- Nick Bosa

WILL- Jamien Sherwood / Tatum Bethune
MIKE- Fred Warner / DaShaun White
SAM- Dee Winters

CB- Renardo Green / Tre Avery
CB- Paulson Adebo / Darrell Luter
Nickle- Deommodore Lenoir
FS- Ji'Aiyr Brown / George Odum
SS- Malik Mustapha

K- Jake Moody
P- Mitch Wishnowski

Collins played well when he wasn't injured

good list. keenan allen is making more sense to me as a buy low vet addition. particuarly if we cut deebo and BA is on the pup or what have you.
Still all on for Osa. Would open up lots of different pathways to go in the draft.

OSA ODIGHIZUWA, DALLAS COWBOYS: 74.8 PFF GRADE

Best Landing spot: San Francisco 49ers

Overall Free-Agent Rank: 30

Over the past two seasons, Osa Odighizuwa has established himself as a reliable interior pass-rusher, earning a 78.0 pass-rush grade in both campaigns. He's totaled over 100 pressures and 10 sacks during that span, showcasing his consistent ability to disrupt opposing quarterbacks.

Reports suggest Robert Saleh is a strong contender to return as the 49ers' defensive coordinator, and if he does, addressing a pass rush that ranked 27th in pressures generated will likely be a top priority. Odighizuwa's proven skill set could make him an ideal fit for the role.

He's going to get paid…by another team hopefully.

Nothing against the kid, would love him here but with this draft class coming up we shouldn't be big $ spending in FA.

If the Bengals make trey Hendrickson available, would you swap 1st rd picks and throw in #139? Bryce Huff is also a possible trade candidate.
Wonder how much Najee Harris is gonna get offered or if he'll be even offered a starting spot. I know he grew up a 49er fan and wouldn't mind him as a RB2 if he comes cheap.
Dunno why they'd do it, but jets should trade breece hall for deebo and a 2026 day 3 pick

I would. But our cap wouldn't like another massive salary lol

There's rumors he will get 30+ mil a year. I just don't think that's possible for us.

Wouldn't mind Asante Samuel Jr signing as a free agent.
