It's to late, the York/Lynch completely bombed our cap space with all the releases and trading Deebo.

Lol. Niners are 12th in the league with ~44 million in cap space.

With massive qb contract and potentially 11 picks to sign, not sure he'd fit the scheme either being 6'7 360+ lbs sounds like Trenton Williams

Anything more than minimum and they aren't interested.

Perhaps, can't blame them for going bargain hunting and maybe they have another guy in the sights, it's still early in offseason

Thanks for posting those stats Pillage . I was curious what his 40 was so he's pretty quick. We finally have a free safety that can cover if we get Thornhill.

Hopefully Thorny's calves hold up
I doubt they sign any juan else at safety.

Well, Pinnock / Grant sit behind Mustapha. At FS there's Brown (always hurt/misses tackles), Mahoney (late rd last year) and some dude they signed few months ago (Quindell Johnson) who played for Bears / Rams... maybe someone can step up
Cards bringing in Asante Samuels Jr. for a visit. I hope we're on his list. He absolutely sucks as a tackler, but he is damn good in coverage, especially man coverage.

I doubt we'll pay him tho
Boo, Ben Skowronek staying with Steelers. Was supposed to be the Juice replacement

Even though we can afford him, we won't.

So I take it Juice won't sign there now.

CJ Moseley a free agent. I thought he had a bad neck injury and would retire.

Not sure. They might not see him as FB like I do

A very good chunk of that is earmarked for the future with purdy

Not this year. We will probably roll over next to 20 million unused cap space into next year, after (hopefully) allowing the the 24 and 25 draft classes to establish a new foundation and the dead cap hits clearing the books.

I'd have rather tried to go all in again...get Greenlaw back, bring in DJ Reed and Jonathan Allen. Grab Dalman.

But to overreact in the other direction and be pissed at the team for destroying our capspace just simply isn't true. We should aim to actually understand what's going on rather than be overly emotional about it.
