N/m, if he had come to the 49ers his knee would have exploded after 5 snaps.
Hopkins confirmed that he is dealing with a partial tear of his left MCL.

He suffered a full thickness (grade 3) a couple years ago of his right knee that required surgery.
He will be dealing with this for the entire season.
