He kicked 2 field goals and both barely went in. The longest one was 39 yards. Those are gimme field goals for anyone not named Jose Cortez, so good job that he actually made them, but there's definitely some concern.

He made all his FG's and extra points though. They went in right?

Still fair to critique and be a bit concerned about it, just like Purdy's first touchdown pass. Sure he doesn't deserve to be roasted, but who wasn't at least a little bit worried every time he lined up to kick?

They went in by about 1/2 inch each. It was a little shaky. But they still WENT IN. So that's not really bad I suppose. I would rather see the middle of the uprights too. But it doesn't always go that way.

Put it this way, no kicker aims for juuust inside the uprights. It's an adventure watching him kick.

poor guy has to make 3 kicks just for 1 to count

Yeah, I'm not trying to bag on him, but he feel almost the opposite of Gould, both good and bad. Gould was pretty much automatic under 50 yards, and unreliable from 50+. I wouldn't find any fault in giving Moody a shot from 50 or 60+ on 4'th and 10, but I don't feel confident he's going to make the under 50 yarders. Come playoff time the reliability is more valuable than the big leg. It's a long season, so hopefully he settles down a bit and gains some confidence.

What was concerning was on, and can't recall what kick it was, they called a TO and he just piped it down the middle. Then when the actual kick came up he pushed it right and just inside the uprights.

Yes, just an observation about how he kicks when the pressure is on. I can also name off a few massive ones that have not gone in when the pressure was on. Hope he can straighten out because they will need him during the stretch run

I sense prior trauma here. Please explain.
The one thing I'll say about this kid Is Unless he turns out to be the next Morten Anderson, he'll never live up to the value of his draft position.
Don't mean to start an argument but for now, he makes me nervous and I hope he is not in the position for game winners this season. Perhaps the year experience will serve him well.

He's fine. It's a compensatory 3rd. Which is like a 4th. His percentage is good. One doosy in Cleveland. He hit almost all FG's and every extra point. He has hit some long bombs in College and pros. The leg is very good.
