Gould was considered a rookie/young sensation on those bears teams early on. He didn't have trouble until later in his career with chicago iirc

okay maybe not early in his career, but he was missing game winning kicks.... so not just flat wrong..
This is why you don't use an early pick on a kicker. No matter how physically talented they might, they're all on the verge of having some sort of mental breakdown that basically makes them useless.
