Been a stud, keep going kid. It does amuse me. If he was a 7th rounder everyone would love him! I'd much rather have him than Ty Davis Price! Once a player is on this team the cost it took to get them here should no longer matter.

I think people have overly exagerated his supposed struggles in pre-season. He was making almost everything in training camp and really only had the one bad pre-season game where he went 0-2. And the 2nd one was from like 53 yards. the 2nd game where he was getting critisized he made all 3 of his FG's. Yes he missed the PAT but you would be surprised how many missed PAT's that happens during the season since they moved it back 10 yards.

Yup. Dude can potentially hit from 60+ in the rare occurrence that it's needed

Jake is only 23, and still can get stronger. Human Growth stops, on average, at the age of 25. So he can still get better, stronger, etc... I think if he keeps himself in good shape, he can kick till he's Tom Brady's age.

Its not the strength that you worry about in a kicker, its the mentality.

How are the winds at Levi's btw? The places he played so far, the winds were a non-factor. For kickers the Winter weather can be a factor. Candlestick was notorious for the winds.
