Kind of shows how much faith we truly have in our interior D line. Not sure who's left to sign with Eagles being more aggressive and snatching up both of the guys at the top of the FA pile.
Lynch couldn't force him to choose the Niners I'm sure they gave him a very good sales pitch. It was his decision and his alone. It came down to us or the Eagles. Personally I don't think he'd fit the Niners locker room culture.
You're right about the cultural fit. But I think we are so thin at DT (Hurst, Kinlaw, AA) that adding a body is going to be necessary.
I'm wondering if TY McGill will start getting into the rotation.

Our DL is still pretty deep. Armstead will be back soon (hopefully), and we have backups like Hyder, Ridgeway, Jackson, Givens, etc, rotating through and being productive.
Suh would've been a luxury, but at his age, with his potential to be abrasive, it might be better that he went elsewhere.

they probably gave more money too. Eagles need him more than us even with AA out we still allow the least YPC in NFL
not to say it isnt a need because we are thin but we are getting AA back soon. The eagles on the other hand allowed 3 straight 150 yard rushing games before signing Suh. Suh wouldn't be a starter here either in the long run

Koureck is probably putting alot of work into him. He has the skills to be dominant but needs some coaching up. Hopefully he can contribute later in the season
