Trade for DE Chubb

IF the report is true that Denver is looking to trade DE Chubb, I think this would be a good one for us..

Honestly think the 49ers are good at DE. Bosa, Ebukam and Drake Jackson, not too many teams have a pass rush this good. What the 49ers really NEED is a DT.

if a DE is available, someone like CHUBB, then we go get him... Drake may not be ready until year 3 and he's so raw..

Agree - with Arik and Kinlaw injured, the loss of D.J. Jones stings even more.
Stopping the run was once a strength, and now, it's an area opposing teams
attack with success.

It's really annoying that teams can just run the ball at will on the defense. Not only that, the LB's seems to miss a lot more tackles now that O-lines just run the interior DL over!!! On top of all that the defense has injuries to the secondary.

Seeing all this, just makes me hate the DeForest Buckner trade even more.

They had one in homegrown D J Jones. They wouldn't pay him a reasonable salary, they now pay the price.

Well we can pretty much end this discussion about trading for Chubb. One team has offered the Broncos a 1st round pick. The 49ers aren't gonna spend or give up anymore 1st round picks for players, especially since they just drafted a DE.

If the 49ers wanna go deep in the playoffs or even get there, they're gonna need a DT or CB. Kevin Givens and Hassan Rideway just aren't cutting it and you're not gonna stop the bleeding at CB by continuing to call up Dontae Johnson or depend on an often-injured Jason Verrett.
