Pay his salary, he rewarded the Bucs with a Championship it won't be a tough negotiation.

I doubt Tampa would play hard ball out of respect but thats just my opinion. He got them a championship. I'm not quite sure what Tampa's FA list looks like but I know they lost AB and Godwin out w/ ACL prob all next season.

I can see Brady accepting that…he said it in 2020 if niners wanted him there would've been no FA tour or negotiating - he would've accepted it

That ship has sailed.
But I don't think that would be an issue. It's not like Brady has Jimmy's vision and awareness and can't get the ball out quickly and accurately.

I actually believe that Brady's retirement leaking is part of the Brady camp's plan to get him out of Tampa. Brady must have asked them to trade him and they said no so he is showing that he is willing to retire without acutally filling out the paperwork. Bucs are going to want to get something for Brady and Brady will be able to choose his destination. This is the perfect spot for him. We got the scheme, the weapons, and the defense. The only thing we need to do is patch up that O-line, which I am sure will be Brady's request. Wont be hard to do when Brady joins and guys want to come here on a discount to get a ring.
We send Bucs Garappolo and our 2nd. Done!

He will be paid $5M less than Garappolo in 2022. We could definitely afford him. Plus, if $20M doesn't work for us, Brady will agree to a restructure

No brainer. Go get Brady. Trey can develop for another year(or 2 if Brady wants to play 2).
This would be a dream scenario.

Trey would only be 23 then when he finally starts. Wouldn't be the worst thing in the world but we need to rip off the band aid and let the kid sink or swim. But knowing this team they will consider it if he decides to pull a favre.
