Hard pass. Everyone is going through stuff. He just quit on his team imo. They are all out their battling. He isn't. You can say he needs to protect his mental health. But NFL teams need to win games, and if he's at home dealing with mental health he isn't helping do that.

I mean, I didnt advocate trading for him. Relax.

Let me guess OBJ on one side, Ridley on the other, AB in the slot. Great Madden team you got there. In reality none of them would actually take the darn field for more than a game or two before deuces I'm out of here...

Haha. I mean, Ridley is a monster. But as I said, this is the first time in a while where I feel like the WR spot wasnt a glaring weakness on this team. Thank GOD Aiyuk is working out because drafting a WR at 12 would have 100% what I would have done. Thats not hindsight either.

Everyone has their problems. Until you know Ridley's is, I'm not sure how you can talk bad about him. Maybe he lost someone important in his life and wanted to step away for awhile. I wouldn't blame him. Maybe he thought about suicide or was damn near close to it, again I wouldn't blame him for stepping away.

Sometimes a fresh start is what players need. Its not like he's known to be a head case.

Deebo, Aiyuk and Ridley with Trey Lance would be greatest show on turf all over again.

Many mental health issues are much like diabetes or high blood pressure in that they can be controlled by meds. Until a person realizes it isn't something they can "just get over," and gets a medical psychiatrist to guide them back to health, they are going to be unstable and miserable. Football players are no different than anyone else in that regard.

Too many people grow up not realizing they need help for "the way I feel." Depression is real. It isn't something you can just deal with. However, the good news is that most of it can be controlled by meds. If Ridley has gone through all that and found the proper balance of meds, he could resume his very good career.

At this point only thing this team needs is a speed WR. Someone to take the top off and take advantage of Trey's strong arm.
I have no idea if Ridley would fill that bill but that's what I feel we are lacking.
Packers should be over it

And we also have Kittle so we cannot afford a guy like Ridley on the roster too. We also lack draft assets.
