Talking about Ambry Thomas.

49ers are never gonna get over that hill as long as Lynch is the GM.

I don't t understand what you want him to say?

"We don't believe we have a starting CB on our team"

let's just wait and see what happens. He acknowledged the need for corner by drafting 2 in the draft.

I would think he would know a ton more about secondary play then a fan. But that's just my opinion.

Lol you would think huh, funny how they continue to get burned game after game though. And I don't actually want him to say s**t, just fix the damn secondary. Just because he made two moves (two weak moves) in the draft doesn't mean he really acknowledged it, more like it was a need to. Acknowledging it would be spending a 1st or 2nd round pick IMO along with going outta your way to make a trade to quickly repair when needed to, Stephon Gilmore, CJ Henderson and so on come to mind.

Exactly K! I am sick and f**king tired of having bad corners or even average corner play against teams we play in our division. Almost every contending team has two good receivers or at least one really really good one. If we don't fix this problem we are never going to win a Super Bowl I don't care what anyone says. Pass rushers can be held or double teamed or neutralized in many ways.

Umm, they do start 2 CBs on the outside, and Ambry has been playing a lot better, almost had a Pick just now, while I'd love to add a CB via FA, I don't want to overpay someone, also, the best CBs unsigned after 2021(JC Jackson, Carlton Davis) will likely be tagged anyway. And I'm not keen on giving someone in their 30s big money. Also I doubt we'd get a Jackson anyway, if he's not tagged, dude is gonna be the highest paid CB. You can't afford to keep everyone plus go out and clearly overpay for a CB.

Still don't get the hate for Lynch, makes no sense to me.

Dude they didn't have the cash to bring in Gilmore, or retain him in FA, I wouldn't give him $15M a yr, for fans who are tired of injury prone players, you guys sure do love the idea of trading or signing them if they're big name players, makes no god damn sense.

Steven Nelson got 3mil
Desmond King got 2.5mil
Casey Hayward got 2.5mil
Surely they could've afforded one of them.
Maybe if Jimmy gets traded, they get a corner in the package.

I also did list CJ Henderson. Also there were a ton more options at the time besides Gilmore. You may be a numbers guy AB, but you can't tell me there wasn't better options.

I still don't get the blind love for this guy. Also you do know Ambry Thomas was a Adam Peters guy anyway……does Lynch even make his own picks!! Can't stand his b******t either when they fail to swing trades, like they were ever in it!!! Due diligence b******t line we always hear. Adam Petere could become the GM and the 49ers would not miss a beat at all!!! Well maybe in the b******t department they would. You think Lynch could swing another GM job if he were to be fired by this one….hell no!!!!
Free agency is for clubs that don't know how to fish. I mean draft.

So shouldn't the 49ers be in free agency. Lol

Didn't know they drafted a Pro Bowl shutdown CB.
Wonder what the price tag would be for Run CMC? He's been getting hurt a lot maybe Panthers would bail on him? Would look great in our jersey and Lynch loves the Stanford guys. Probably a pipe dream.
we have fine talent at CB but we need an experienced solid guy across the youngsters badly. BADLY!

another pass rusher is always a need.

Would like to have another guard.

Lol last thing this team needs is a rb especially giving up picks and taking that salary. This isn't madden
Put IOL with your primary needs. Tomlinson is a FA, Mack has been subpar and Brunskill is inadequate at RG.
