Daniel Jones

a net positive for Jones and the Giants imo

Feel for him a bit. Jones left TDs on the field with open receivers. "That's as open as it gets in the NFL" is what they said on the broadcast. Yet the guy drawing up the plays with the open receivers gets the axe.
Garrett is like Baalke he won't be out of work long, he's a member of the club.

Yup next stop Cowboys radio color commentary. Not a bad job if you can get it. Literally get paid to watch football and get great seats each game travel, meals all comp'd what a life.

I think Garrett will be coaching. Let a guy who doesn't have an extensive network get a HC job. Someone will need to be QB coach or OC.
Jones situation with NYG is reminiscent to Alex Smith Nolan/Singeltary era.

Those designed QB runs got him injured (neck) and the Giants who are going to have a high draft pick, still have to make a decision on whether to commit to him long-term.

I think they should he's some accuracy and moves really well. Hard to have success behind that line just keep building it up they lose big time if they tear it all down.
Would be an excellent back up qb for us someday

I think its possible. Dont know if anyone is going to sign this guy as a possible starter. He will have to take the Dalton/Trubisky/Mariota/Tannehill route. Play under a good system as a backup QB, learn, wait for a chance to fill in, and hopefully become a starter down the road.

Where we're going we don't need a backup

Absolutely. Perfect style of QB to come in and backup Lance.

Honestly I think he is fully capable of being a Kirk Cousins with more mobility type of QB, which is a pretty good qb if he gets to the right coaching staff... which could be us.... which could lead us to flip him for a good draft pick. But lets see what the Giants do, they hired their GM and looks like they want either Flores or Quinn.
