A do or die season for the kid.

If he flops with NYG, good chance he might be forced into backup duty elsewhere.

Would you kick the tires on him in the Trey Lance era with Jimmy gone?

I think he might have some potential in this league but the Giants just didn't do him any favors.

He can throw 35 picks this year and the giants will ride it through with him and extend him

Jones is out if he flops, could be a destination for Jimmy. Jones will probably get another chance starting elsewhere or at least compete so he won't be coming here

This. Not sure Jones will ever be a good QB but they aren't doing him any favors. Its not like he's Josh Rosen. He's flashed plenty of times but the Giants have done everything possible to derail his development.

Unless he's soft like Trubisky and wants to become a backup.

Daniel Jones is actually pretty decent. The Giants are just a bad football team. Even Saquon sucks behind that OL.

He's pretty decent at being a turnover machine. He has a good wr group and a top rb but his OL isn't very good. The fumbles and poor accuracy as well as horrific decision making is on him. I'm glad the giants have him, we never have to worry about losing to them

Ya, them and the Jets did no favors for their young QB. He's got talent, he could be a good player in this league, but he probably needs to go somewhere else.

We definitely will need a long term backup. I prefer an older vet though.

I'd prefer a young mobile backup so we don't have to change the scheme god forbid lance goes down.

Ya'll see MNF? You have a former QB in the booth and he showed on back to back plays Daniel Jones had the TD and just didn't see it he kept going elsewhere.
