With a DL that looks like a candy store and we can only get 8-10 of them, there are some DL cuts that are going to start at Elsewhere USA…unless JL can come up with a story that makes a team in need of starter DLs want to give up a 6th or 7th instead of gambling to get our cuts for free. I thot maybe JL could snake at least a 7th in trade for a sure fire starter DL, but the later it gets, the less likely to happen. one reason could be that KS and JL can't agree on the cuts, which when it comes to the DL…is going to be damn hard. Anyone hear anything at all about a pick for a DL before cuts?

I hope we arent' . We saw what we thot were 2 credible backup QBs for a couple yrs , but when things went to hell, they just weren't adequate (for our team, anyway).

Right now 12:10 meaning JL has 50 more minutes of phone calls to see if he can sell another of our cuts prior to 1 pm deadline. He got one already, so I guess no point in being piggy. Still, it would be nice…c'mon John, babe. Zing us one more.

oh, and don't be surprised if JL/KS nail at least one add on from everyone else's cuts. CB, DB, OL…any of those would be nice if better than what we currently have as backups…Problem is, i really like our team right now.

I don't see cam going anywhere as a backup. I bet he is going to wait, hopefully get his 2nd VAX,(mRNA) and if a starter goes down, and Cam is offered a starting job, i bet he takes that. He just wants to start. Note he was the good soldier and really helped Mack J get prepared for starting. But he wasn't interested in not being a starter. Weren't there 6…maybe 7 teams last yr that lost their starter QB? My guess is that is what Cam is waiting for, and a joke would be if he ended up being the PATs again.

don't think Cm really brings Drama. And he would be a solid #2 next season if we trade Jimmy. But I see your point as well.
