agreed...the issue is you have a team that uses 21 personnel more than any team in the league and just paid a FB a ton of cash.

You get Julio then you either bench that FB and your built up scheme in favor of a s**t ton more 11 personnel OR Deebo/Ayiuk are losing snaps.

I think he takes a slice out of everyones snaps, while getting less than he usually got.

And aside from cap room that is a good thing. This team is insanely physical, so after deebo does a sweep and a slant running over people he goes to the sideline.

I think 3WR will dip into the 2 TE sets more than anything else, and julio would be the WR in 22 looks. Als i think 3WR 2 TE looks may increase especially if Lance takes over.

Wouldn't hate having Julio, but that cap hit is ugh.

If Jimmy was gone I'd still be a little eh on it with that hit.

Can't see us having the draft capital or cap space for him unless Atlanta were so desperate we traded Jimmy to someone else and just flipped the pick for Julio.

This is the only real way it could happen.

The only way I'd be ok with it is if ATL paid part of Julio's 2021 and 2022 salary so it doesn't f**k us over long term, but my fear is they'll want a high pick or 2, and we really need those picks in case we do lose key players. I'm just wary with him being 32, high priced, likely wants a new deal if dealt, plus picks it'll take to get him, it sucks enough without a 1 till 2024, but if we give up say a 2 and 3, that sucks, to be in 2022 or 2023 without a 1st and 2nd rd pick. Jimmy won't be dealt, I believe John & Kyle when they say that he's here to stay in 2021, plus the NTC is an issue, he can veto any deal, force them to cut him, I'd rather hold onto him for 2021, let him repair his value, deal him in 2022 when he doesn't have a NTC.

I think Julio could come cheap in a trade maybe couple of 3rds. He's 32 has a high cap hit and the falcons are desperate. My only concern is if we rolled with jimmy we wouldn't maximize Julio's talent because jimmy has an average arm and a meh deep ball. Now with Lance it could be great for his confidence and production

Someone on Twitter mentioned maybe the Falcons eating some of his salary, for us, it'd have to be 2021 and 2022 salary, or he lowers his 2022 cap hit, cause the $11.513M is too much for 2022, we'd be under $10M pre Warner extension under the 2022 cap. I don't see JG traded, in 2022 yes, he doesn't have a NTC next season. But if Julio did take a pay cut along with ATL paying some of his salary as a bonus, then I'm ok with it, pay cut needs to be in 2022 though, that $10M include trading or releasing Jimmy. COVID is killing the 2022 cap like it did 2021, a $17M drop this season, should have been $215M, and then $225M-$230M in 2022, now $182.5M this season, likely $203M-$205M in 2022.

Yeah me 2 man, all this nonsense with betting odds, the whole Stafford and Mac Jones crap, on top of other things around the sports world, I seriously don't know how they come up with some of this garbage.
What a trade package look like though? I don't think it's gonna take as much as some people are thinking and it will probably be less than Cleveland gave up for Beckham.

I wouldn't want to lose Deebo or Aiyuk.

OBJ was in his prime when he got traded (27). Julio is on the downside of his career. I think Julio's value is:
two day 2 picks, or
one day 2 pick + cheap young player

Am I underestimating Julio's worth? Can't use Hopkins, Diggs, or OBJ as comps since all of them were younger when they got traded. Antonio Brown was a hothead and that reduced his value.

Yeah, I think it's either a 1(likely not happening), or 2 day 2 picks or a day 2 pick + good young player, if the Falcons ate some of the money, I'd entertain it, but Julio would need to reduce his 2021 and 2022 salaries, cause those won't fit with having to retain guys and extend others. If the cap didn't go down, i.e. no COVID, then we wouldn't be talking about being an issue, but then again Julio wouldn't be available, if the cap was $215M like it was supposed to be, the Falcons would be fine cap wise.

How often do we do 2 TE sets? We run 21 personnel and just paid Juice specifically for that.

someone will be on the bench and it's either juice or Deebo.

As a selfish fantasy football fan, that just loves sexy picks/moves I'd be so down with Julio...the smart football side says that it doesn't make a ton of sense.

This. Big contract, lots of mileage, more draft capital to sacrifice. However, Julio has been so fun to watch, it'd be kinda awesome seeing him on this offense.

Yeah it would be just cool to have him and no one will be mad about adding talent, I'm also not gonna be upset if they don't go that route.

I'd say a 2nd and 4th get it done...not sure it has to be in the same yr either. I doubt any team moves a player, that doesn't happen much.

I also think Julio will have a little say in where he goes too.
