Bridgewater to Denver

Either one of them has more upside than Drew Lock. And you have Bridgewater as the bridge QB to let Lance/Jones learn behind him to start the season.

That's a great value trade because you don't have to give up too many picks, you get rid of a QB to a team that is in a cap crunch for a few years with no developing QB behind their starter, and you have a good transition to a high impact QB in 2022.

Possible. But that would only be if somehow the Falcons were that high on Lock. Even if they were really high on lock. I am not sure they are giving up Drafting a guy like Pitts for #9 a third-rounder and Lock.

IMO The only way it makes sense to bring Bridgewater in and draft a rookie QB for the Broncos, Is if you can get solid value for Lock in a trade right now. (which I am not sure they would be able to right now). If not it makes more sense to let Lock and the Rookie QB compete. Potentially being able to get good value later on by trading the one you think is less good.

Great deal for Denver

I think this gives them the flexibility to just wait there and see if their guy falls to them in the first. If not, they will probably pull the trigger on Mond or Mills in the 2nd. But with Bridgewater, its no sweat if a QB falls to them. They can pick up a great player still. Bridgewater with Jeudy, Sutton, and someone like Devonta Smith or Waddle would make him look like a top 10 QB.

But overal it looks like Elway just pulls the trigger on any QB that falls to him. Doesnt seem like he does any real homework on who he picks at the position. Just takes a chance

Bridgewater would have been a perfect bridge QB for Fields

Just thinking that too. Could have traded Jimmy if they got Bridgewater and gained draft capital.
Bridgewater got named the starting QB today by Fangio over Lock. Good for Teddy.

Elway has drafted so many busts at QB it's insane.
