That's a great value trade because you don't have to give up too many picks, you get rid of a QB to a team that is in a cap crunch for a few years with no developing QB behind their starter, and you have a good transition to a high impact QB in 2022.
Possible. But that would only be if somehow the Falcons were that high on Lock. Even if they were really high on lock. I am not sure they are giving up Drafting a guy like Pitts for #9 a third-rounder and Lock.
IMO The only way it makes sense to bring Bridgewater in and draft a rookie QB for the Broncos, Is if you can get solid value for Lock in a trade right now. (which I am not sure they would be able to right now). If not it makes more sense to let Lock and the Rookie QB compete. Potentially being able to get good value later on by trading the one you think is less good.
