This guy was on the market for the longest time and was cheap. We could have had two WR's we could hand the ball off to at any time.

Wouldn't have happened since Shanny was hell bent on developing Jalen Hurd. Hurd was supposed to be that RB/WR tweener.

Apparently the FO tried the land him but he chose Atlanta

Oops, better not laugh, 9ers still have to play him.

Oops on his part. Although Atlanta did give him a chance to shine. If Atlanta isn't offering a longterm deal with guarantees, I'd see about San Francisco. A year in this offense would take his value to the next level.

We could also always just try to find the next guy in the draft or the UDFA market.

I doubt we shell out money for him when we have Deebo, who will most likely get extended in 2022. I think our coaching staff needs to concentrate on drafting another Deebo/Patterson type player. Honestly after this year, I think alot of FOs are seeing Deebo and Patterson's impact and will be looking for those players too.

Yup. I think the draft will be the place. I'm thinking said player will be a returner primarily. I want us to draft a KR/PR, then just bring athletes into camp that can be placed on the practice squad. It's likely due to injury, but I have no desire to see Deebo getting 5 carries a game going forward.
He would be a nice addition to the team. A running back that can motion out and win one on one and win. Plus we need a solid returner so Deebo doesn't wear himself out. Can fill Deebo's role when he is on the bench, and provides great depth overall. Price might be an issue, but fortunately he is no spring chicken
I'd take him. He can speel deebo from those rb reps and a beast of a returner. You know Kyle will scheme up crazy s**t for him
a year TOO LATE
