I am so done with all the fair catches and just average returns, I don't see how our coaches are OK with this. Just because we have an awesome kicker and an above average punter doesn't mean we don't need a damn return man. Damn you Pettis

8 KR TDs in 8 seasons. 1 each the last 3. 1 KR TD could be 1 win. He aslo fits the jet sweep game in our offense. Has experience recieving and taking hand offs. Perfect low cost fit that is a difference maker.

JUST the chance for this guy to get us to a good field position should be more than enough... heck, didn't we just re-signed that useless GOODWIN??

dang, enough's enough... Sanu-Goodwin-Crey Crey... sheeezzzz !!!

No, his rights reverted to us when the trade was nullified. He's not resigned

Sign this guy

We could certainly use the upgrade in the return game, and I KEEP imagining what this guy could do in our offense too!

And then I remember the long list of coaches, that have tried to make him into a productive player on offense.... :(
DID he not sigh back with Chicago??
Can he return punts as well as kick offs?

This team need a returner almost as bad as a RG.

Nvm, it looks like he signed with ATL

He's done well with Atlanta this season. Definitely would have been a shrewd move to sign him. Oh well.
Thought about him and this thread as soon as Cannon muffed that f**ker.

We're unable to make room for a guy like this because of Hurd. That dude better start playing soon.

Yeah I don't understand the reluctance to sign someone like him. He instantly takes care of return duties and could be utilized on offense as well.

Completely agree. Been hoping for a return specialist ever since we moved on from Teddy Ginn. After yesterday's debacle it should be quite evident why it's important. You can't just neglect the special teams aspect of the roster and hope things work out with guys you keep signing off the street.

If this isn't the webzone in a nutshell I don't know what is.
He'll be a niner next year, exactly the type of player needed, handke kicks and punts, play RB at times and in the slot too, Sherman, Mitchell, Hasty and Patterson will be nice.
