Potential Cap Casualties (2021)

Incentive based contracts should help in signing P Smith or Benson. Lots of options. Priority should be 1OL, 1 DE, 1 CB, maybe a FB or TE with 4th rd pick. Lots of cuts will be made post June 1st. Cutting Ford and Richburg should net an additional$23 million. Gonna be interesting to see which players take a reduced salary on a 1 or 2 yr deal

That 23 mill is fool's gold

we will only save 9 mill if cut due to the 51 man cap in March
What about Josh Jackson? Is he a FA?

Now there's a guy I would love to see him team up with Kinlaw. But he'll be too expensive too.

5 games played in the last 2 seasons. Vet min deal. Otherwise, pass.
Eagles releasing DeSean Jackson.

I don't understand all the negativity when it comes to the Niners next season. The niner fans in the media discussion asking if this is a playoff team and most are saying they might be a 9 win team. They are so caught up in the QB situation that they don't realize this is one of the most stacked teams in the league when healthy. We got the best linebacker in the league and another one that might be a top 10 Linebacker. Got one of the best edge rushers. Maybe the best all around TE in the league. The only argument you can make is Kelce. One of the best offensive minds, one of the best running attacks. two really good WR's. This team won 6 games last season with a tough schedule, missing three quarters of their team for majority of the season due to injuries, being hit with covid, and being kicked out of their home. So your telling me having an easier schedule, everyone healthy, getting to play the same amount of home games as everyone else is only worth 3 more wins? Maybe they are assuming Bosa won't be healthy, and they won't be able to re-sign any of their free agents.

There are a lot of question marks at key positions on our team still. But the overall majority of the team still looks good.

So much this. Relatively healthy without our whole team injured (nfl record) I easily see playoffs if not the number one seed. GB we own and the Saints are done. Seattle we can even beat with a few backups too. The rams....are the rams. TB will be a challenge but we are a better team
You could make an argument for the majority of teams being 9 win teams given the nature of this off season.

So much movement still to come. Not really worth worrying about what people say about our chances at the moment.
