This. He could be Bo Jackson in our offense !

but honestly I think we can make any UDFA work. Don't see the need
And why should the Niners be wasting money on a RB when they have two good ones? Even $3 Million would be a waste of cap space.

If he came cheap I wouldn't see why not. He'd be third in the rotation.

With the rate this team goes through RB's, having three who can all carry the load is essential. Gurley isn't that guy, if you sign him you're bringing him largely to play on the goalline and short yardage, he's not good for much else. I'd rather they give that spot to some hungry rookie that can run it on all three downs.

I'd like to see what he's got with less of a load in this offense.

Last year we needed 5 RBs to make it through the season and we lost Coleman and Jet. Also, he's not going to get $3 million. He's going to have to sign on a much lower contract.
Damn I didn't realize dude is only 26, feels like he's 35 with the injuries and it seems he's been in the league forever. I'll take him for 1 year 2 mil
Would rather give Frank the Tank a farewell tour.

Got 2 RB that can handle the job. We can use that money somewhere else.
Cheaper and better RB production from a late round draft pick. Sorry Todd. No thanks.

Depends on how much money he wants but I don't see why not. Every year all of our RBs end up injured at one point our another.

Exactly why you don't want to bring in an injury prone RB that is so limited at this point in his career. Add a cheaper rookie with fresh legs that can play on all three downs if needed.
I can see why people would want Gurley, he gets TDs but clearly with Shanny's track record, RB is one position we don't have to spend on.
Would rather spend the money and roster slot on the OG Frank Gore.
