Todd Gurley

Anybody have any interest? His production has dropped a lot in the past two years. His ypa is down over a yard. Still, guy was one of the best in the game a few years ago and he's still young.

Worth a small deal? He could regain his game under Kyle's offense.

he's injured as much as jimmy g, pass
what? why?

Would rather see them bring in generational RB Leonard Fournette.
Don't need to pay Gurley when we can get production out of late round or UDFA RB's.

Bring him in to give Dee Ford advice on how to deal with gimpy knees.

Dee's problem is the neck/back though
This guy wasn't even a bellcow in a sketchy ATL backfield with scrub backups, so... nope.
I don't see the problem.

Offer him a one year vet min deal with some escalators for performance and see if he regains his form under an offense that he clearly would like to play in based on the front page article. If he doesn't, then you cut him and move on without any loss. If he wasn't his best chance to succeed it would be on this team with the way we have proven we can run the ball.

He doesn't miss many games, even if he's got some injuries. His lowest attempts in a season were last year, and that was still a higher number than any other RB on our team has ever had in a single season. It would stand to reason that being on a team where he's not asked to carry the call 15-20 times, but instead 7-10 a game would help him stay as healthy as possible.

How many times have the Patriots while they were having their run brought in a big time vet that people thought was washed up, only to have him put up some of the best numbers of his career? Corey Dillion comes to mind. I think that kind of deal would be well worth the small risk.

Do we need a bellcow or another guy to carry the ball 7 times in a game? He led the team in TDs.
If he came cheap I wouldn't see why not. He'd be third in the rotation.

He's still playing?

With the rate this team goes through RB's, having three who can all carry the load is essential. Gurley isn't that guy, if you sign him you're bringing him largely to play on the goalline and short yardage, he's not good for much else. I'd rather they give that spot to some hungry rookie that can run it on all three downs.
